Description

We Build Worlds is an exploratory podcast on NFT games, the NFT metaverse, and how people are building worlds in this new space. The podcast is hosted by Arel and Lex who are building their own worlds with their platform, Passage, which is built on Cosmos, and their up and coming NFT game, Strange Clan. They document their own journey making a massive NFT community and give a ground floor view of what is happening on the cusp of this new blockchain era. They talk with creators of all kinds about how they are building ‘worlds’ whether that’s a game, a movie, a business, or a brand, but mostly fellow creators in the NFT space!

Our guest today is Jonathan Caras, Head of Communication at Levana Protocol which is a Perpetual Swaps platform built on Terra. What Jonathan and the team behind Levana Protocol are doing is very interesting, but what’s even more exciting is their approach to bringing it to the market: rather than just delivering a perpetual swaps platform, they are building a game on top of it.This strategy is very similar to what we are doing with Passage, by building the Strange Clan game on top of it. So I was incredibly excited to bring Jonathan onto the show to hear more about it.Follow Levana ProtocolLevana TwitterLevana DiscordLevana TelegramLevana WebsiteLevana MediumFollow us and our project Strange ClanStrange Clan TwitterStrange Clan DiscordStrange Clan WebsiteArel Twitter
This week's guest was Chjango Unchained of Interchain.fm. We wanted to talk with Chjango about the future of Cosmos and where it can go with NFTs, the Metaverse, and Play-to-Own gaming. We believe that what is being built in the Cosmos ecosystem will power blockchain technologies for years to come, and we wanted to get Chjango's thoughts on that, as well as answer any questions our community might have regarding Cosmos and it's surrounding technologies. On this weeks episode of We Build Worlds. Michael and Arel discuss what different games would look like if they decided to integrate blockchain. With the advent of blockchain gaming we've seen a lot of games try to integrate the technology, but most of them end up looking like different versions of card battlers or Pokemon collectors. We were wondering what different game genres would look like if they decided to integrate blockchain. We wanted to discuss how the technology could be integrated into these games without it feeling like a gimmick or a cash grab.Follow us and our project Strange ClanStrange Clan TwitterStrange Clan DiscordStrange Clan WebsiteArel TwitterMichael Twitter

This week's episode is an adaptation of a live AMA that we held last Friday. Discord members submitted questions about Passage and Strange Clan and we got on to give them some answers. This project would be nothing without the community that has developed around it. As we cruise into the holiday season, we are reminded how fortunate we are that we have so many people in our community that are passionate about the work we are doing. So thank you all.Speaking of the holidays, we want to let you all know that We Build Worlds will be on hiatus for the next couple of weeks as we all take time off to be with our families. But don't go anywhere. We have some big plans for the new year, and we think you guys are really going to like what's coming down the pike. So stay tuned for those announcements. From all of us at Three Division, have a happy holiday, and we'll see you all in the new year.Follow us and our project Strange ClanStrange Clan TwitterStrange Clan DiscordStrange Clan WebsiteArel TwitterLex Twitter
Our guest today is Gabby Dizon, co-founder of Yield Guild Games, a gaming build and DAO dedicated to investing in NFT games and assets and lowering the price barrier for Play to Earn games like Axie Infinity. In 2018 Gabby began loaning his Axies to players who couldn't afford to buy their own.
