On this week's episode of Let's Talk Life I have a powerful conversation with 2X Emmy Award Winning Makeup Artist for the syndicated daytime television show “THE REAL" Julie Jules.Julie’s talents continue to grace the world of television and  print media daily as a respected celebrity makeup artist within the entertainment industry. Raised in Newark, New Jersey, Julie learned early on from her Haitian mother the importance  of beauty and resilience. Her passion for beauty originates from the vivid stories her mother told  her about growing up in Haiti. Her mother would make her own makeup out of roses, coal, and  any other element that would bend to her will. These stories inspired Julie because her mother  changed the definition of beauty for herself. Watching her mother work long days and nights to  provide the best possible lifestyle gave Julie the blueprint to success!  She moved to California in 2009 as a senior in high school and then went on to attend California  State University, Long Beach, earning her Bachelors of Science degree in healthcare  administration. Soon after working in the healthcare industry, Julie was introduced to the  wonderful world of makeup artistry and recognized her true calling and worked her way into the  entertainment industry. Julie’s determination and amazing talents transformed her into a Hollywood professional  makeup artist for print, film, video and television. Julie has worked on television shows such as  “The Real '', “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and with celebrities like Garcelle Beauvais  and Vivica A. Fox! Her artistry has made it possible for her to showcase her makeup  transformations for the, Emmys, Billboard, BET and MTV Award Shows as well as being the  Makeup Department Head for the streaming series “Send Help” from the writers of HBO’s  “Insecure”. Julie has demonstrated a versatility in her skills that have made it possible for her to  work on Rhianna’s Savage Fenty Vol 2 fashion show, and the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR  Vietnam.  Through her years of experience Julie has developed her love for storytelling and inspiring  people to be a public speaker. She has been a panelist at the Pan African Film & Arts  Festival and advocated for finding your true passion, but knowing that it can come with hurdles  and how to overcome them.  It is important to note that none of her success would be possible without the support of her  family, friends, clients, and colleagues.Follow: London: https://www.instagram.com/londonkasmir/Julie: https://www.instagram.com/jjulesbeauty/
