Simon has been in and out of running his whole life. He was always the kid who got bored walking so ran instead, if that’s from the bus to home after school, to competing in track and cross country. Then in 2019 Simon was diagnosed with Relapse Remitting Multiple Sclerosis, a condition that his mother has also lived with for 40 years, and since then he has leaned into words that she received during her diagnosis – ‘if you planned to climb Everest, do it sooner rather than later’. Simon has used this sentence and his diagnosis as inspiration to challenge the norm against MS. He now runs to raise money and awareness for MS, completing numerous marathons, 50k’s and the 100k Jurassic Coast, with his eyes now set on an event of his own... the Cornish Coastal Path, 480km, 18000m vert, 7 days, 7 ultras, 7 teams and Simon himself.Find out more about this amazing challege by joining us through the buttons above.Support Simon by clicking herehttps://www.justgiving.com/page/simon-teagle-cornish-coast-challenge FitBitesGet fit in 2024 with the help of the Deliciously FitBites Granola with 15% Protein. Paving the way for a communityTasha is the founder of Black Girls Do Run UKIn 2019 to celebrate 20 years of running, she decided to give back to the sport she loves and created Black Girls Do Run UK; a community to inspire, encourage and motivate regular black women to run. The group was founded based on her experiences throughout her years of running and noticing that there was a lack of diversity in races and running in general. Therefore she decided to try and do something about it. The initial aim of the group was to increase visibility of regular black women running and to meet up at races and it has grown into an amazing community.Alongside this she wants to take on her first ultra-race, cycle around the Isle of Wight and keep running fun!
