I WILL TRUST: LETTING GOToday we begin our new year series for 2022.  The series "I Will Trust" begins with the sermon Letting Go.  A passage in Isaiah is our hymn at CCD as we begin this New Year 2022. Isaiah had witnessed the destruction of Israel and was used to encourage Judah to trust the Lord as He allowed certain events to take place in their lives. Isaiah 11 spoke of a better day ahead (Millennial), God said, “ I that day you will sing”; here’s the song, see God has come to save me. I WILL TRUST IN HIM and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.” Key Verses: Genesis 41:45-52.  Speaker: Gregg Soles, Lead Pastor
I WILL TRUST: HOLDING ONThis incredible story plays out on the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater lake. It is 33 miles round, 13 miles long, and 8 miles wide and has a max depth of 141 feet. A wall of hills surrounds the Sea of Galilee, the lake is notorious for sudden storms. It is from this panoramic view that we get what it means to trust, hold on, and see God in the present, Holding On.Key Verse: MARK 6:45-52. Speaker: Gregg Soles, Lead Pastor
I WILL TRUST: LOOKING TO The writer says in Hebrews 12:3, “Think of all the hostility he (Jesus) endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.”  It hasn’t cost you or me our lives. I’ve discovered that satan uses people to discourage us most in terms of our future,  but… If we can see our Finisher, we can see our future! Key Verse: HEBREWS 12:1-4Speaker: Gregg Soles, Lead Pastor
I WILL TRUST: HOPING FORMuch of our world and society today appear hopeless. Thus, the despondency and despair, the hate and malice, the insults and slurs, the lawlessness, the undermining of leaders, and dirty politics. Those looking for hope are turning to substance abuse, crime, materialism, and false teaching. They have no purpose or assurance about this life or the life to come. HOPING FOR is a sermon that inspires us to look forward to the glorious day that awaits us in Heaven with our Savior, Jesus Christ!Key Verse: 1 PETER 1:1-9Speaker: Gregg Soles, Lead Pastor
BEARING FRUIT FOR CHRISTBelieving What We Believe, Trusting and Having Faith In the Process, and Letting the Fruit Change Us are all part of the journey in allowing Christ to develop the fruits of the spirit in our lives!Speaker: Adrian Noble
STEPPING ONTO THE FIELDPerhaps Jesus is recruiting you today or perhaps calling you off the injured reserve list. A football field is 100 yards, but the first step on the field is the longest yard you ever step. That first step to follow Jesus is perhaps the most embattled slice of real estate on the planet. Levi got up and followed Jesus on Jesus' word to follow him. The only thing he took from his former life was as a recorder of taxes which was his penmanship used to record the Gospel of Matthew.Key Verse: Mark 2:13-17Speaker: Gregg Soles, Lead Pastor
HOW ARE YOU?Through the past few years of our life, a lot has changed.  New ways of thinking and doing have filled our minds on a day-to-day basis.  Today, we are reminded of the people God has called us to be in this checkpoint service in this race called life.  Come join us as we evaluate the fruits of the Spirit that God called us to produce and receive encouragement to fight the good fight of faith!Key Verse: GALATIANS 5:13-25Speaker: Chad McDaniel, Media Pastor
