In today's episode I am doing something I have never done before. Every year I write my kid's a letter on their birthday, and this year I am sharing parts of one of the letters with you. My purpose is to maintain my daughter's privacy, but to also let you all see how the people in your life that trigger you the most can also be your greatest gift. Learning to relate and show up well for her, has shown me so many areas in which I still get to grow and heal. She is the perfect match for me as a mom, and for that I am so grateful. You are going to want to grab your tissues for this one. I hope it touches you in a powerful way. Even if you don't have a daughter imagine this letter is being written for the people in your life that cause you unease and discomfort. Ask yourself, "What is this person teaching me ABOUT ME?". Relationships are incredible mirrors for us if we are willing to see them that way. If this episode touched you in some way, come find me on IG and let me know. I would love to hear your story! One of my daughter's greatest gifts and also the thing that has been so triggering is her ability to be honest about her experience. I pray more women can cultivate this gift. So, this month's breathwork journey is all about reclaiming your voice. You can get access to that here. Celebrating a milestone is always special, but hitting five years of sobriety is not just a personal triumph; it's a beacon of hope that I'm thrilled to share with you. Through heartfelt stories, I, Bridget, open up about the freedom sobriety has unlocked in my life, giving me the ability to juggle my passion for this podcast with cherished moments like caring for my sick son. These years have brought an abundance of health, deeper relationships, and financial stability that I once only dreamed of. Listen as I recount the powerful conversations with my children about life choices, imparting the value of transparency and conscious living.Embarking on a coaching career was a leap fueled by the desire to guide others on their path to sobriety without adhering to conventional recovery labels. In my reflections, I distinguish between simply having the ability to drink and consciously choosing a life of clarity and engagement. Sobriety for me isn't about saying no to a drink; it's a wholehearted yes to living fully. I share the stark contrast between the emotional numbness of my drinking days and the vibrant connection to life I experience now, hoping to inspire others to feel genuinely good. Finally, I extend an invitation to join me in breathwork, a practice that has significantly deepened my sobriety and overall well-being. Whether it's part of your routine or you're looking to try something new, this episode underscores the profound benefits of this mindful exercise. We wrap up with an open heart, encouraging each of us to embrace our sobriety journey, free from shame and rich in commendation for the progress we make each day.Let's Connect.Free guide: 5 ways to find Calm: Get the guide hereCome find me on Instagram: @findherwildcoachingCheck out my website and my offerings here

In today’s episode I am pulling back the curtain and sharing my first ever interview with a past client! I have Kelsey Buckholtz with me today, and if you have ever wondering how coaching can help, this is the episode for you. Kelsey has experienced both 1:1 and group coaching. Kelsey’s story is also unique in that she came to me already knowing the work. She is a published author who shares her journey and the many tools she has learned along the way. She knew these tools, and yet found herself in a season where she needed support to embody them. After having her daughter, she found herself having to relearn all that she knew. We talk about how important it is to have a coach to hold a mirror up to our blindspots. I loved the insights, wisdom, and vulnerability she shares. We uncover the delicate art of setting boundaries and the significance of embracing all of our emotions — the rough, the raw, and the radiant — especially in the presence of our little ones. Kelsey and I swap stories and strategies for managing this balancing act, offering pearls of wisdom on how these challenges can catalyze profound self-growth and lead to the formation of new boundaries as our families grow and our roles evolve. Tune in and if you are someone who struggles specifically with perfectionism and people pleasing, check out Kelsey’s book here. Her book Strong, Calm, and Confident You is not only jam packed with wisdom, but it offers tangible practices to help implement this newfound knowledge.  Kelsey is a published author and coach who helps women in the workplace find balance and reclaim their joy. In her first book, Strong, Calm, Confident You, Kelsey shares her journey with anxiety that manifested as people pleasing and perfectionism. Kelsey has a passion for helping women and moms stop the cycle of pleasing, perfecting, and performing so they can embrace their confident and best selves. Check out Kelsey here: Get a copy of her book here. .Let's Connect.Free guide: 5 ways to find Calm: Get the guide hereCome find me on Instagram: @findherwildcoachingCheck out my website and my offerings here
The best predictor of a relationship is their embodied skills of communicating. Communication can make or break every relationship and especially in our marriages. Unfortunately, we live in a world that teaches us to communicate from our ego. This means letting this childhood part lead the conversation and bring judgement, blame, and criticism forward instead of your heartfelt need and desire. In today's episode, we examine the roadblocks of ego-driven dialogue and how it hinders the bonds we strive to build. If you've ever felt misunderstood or struggled to articulate your deepest feelings, I see you. I experienced so many ruptures in relationships, including both romantic and in friendships. For most of my life, I thought 'speaking my truth' meant that I became very articulate at telling the other person what they did wrong.  Everytime I made it about the other person, I was meant with defensiveness or stonewalling. I never actually got what I wanted. This style of communicating to protect instead of to connect! Tune in as we dive deeper. In today's episode I sit down with Abby King, whose expertise in nutrition and integrative health offers a new perspective on how our gut, breath, and mental health weave together to form the tapestry of our overall health. We dive into Abby's personal health journey, revealing how it sparked her to champion a holistic approach that marries nutritional basics with the power of breathwork and nervous system regulation. We discuss the art of listening deeply to our bodies' cues and the importance of tailoring physical health strategies to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. But it's not just about the physical; the emotional aspect plays a vital role in our gut health. Together with Abby, we explore how addressing emotional undercurrents can lead to profound healing and how practices like breathwork serve as a bridge connecting mental and physical health. We share stories that illustrate the transformative power of nurturing not just the body, but also the mind and spirit, charting a course toward deep, lasting change. Tune in to discover how to orchestrate your path to well-being with wisdom and sensitivity.Meet Abby: Abby King is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), has a Masters in Nutrition and Integrative health and is a certified RESET Breathwork Facilitator.  She is a mind-body nutritionist and practices a bio-individualized approach to nutrition, supporting clients in a variety of health conditions, focusing on preventative health. Have you ever felt like you were masking your true self behind a fortress of toughness? Do you struggle to soften and share your heart?  This episode peels back the layers of the 'masculine shield' that many of us construct, sometimes without even realizing it.Learning about feminine and masculine energy is so important to truly feel balanced in your life. However, dismissing or disliking one energy is not the way to embrace the other. True balance comes from uncovering the blocks or shields you carry that prevent you from accessing both energies. Until you have this awareness, learning to dance between the masculine (doing) and feminine (being) energy will be really hard. In today's episode, I dive into a heart-to-heart about the intricate dance between feminine and masculine energies, sharing my own revelations from recent life events, like the act of moving houses, that prompted a deeper understanding of this balance.  We're not just talking concepts here; I bring to light the tangible signs of imbalance, such as burnout and relentless mental noise, and how they can disrupt our connection to our softer, intuitive side. Tune in for a very important question you can reflect on before trying to get into your feminine energy.Let's Connect.Free guide: 5 ways to find Calm: Get the guide hereCome find me on Instagram: @findherwildcoachingCheck out my website and my offerings here
The other day, someone asked what I do, and I responded, " I help women fall back in love with their lives and the people in it".  She smiled and simply asked " How?". Her question sent me into a deep reflection on my own journey back to love. My journey was not linear at all, and it actually took years into my sobriety to finally feel the love that I was craving. As I reflect on the tools that worked for me and the hundreds of women I have coached, I clearly see five crucial steps that will create more of a connection to love in your life. I am sharing all of them in this week's episode.  If you are someone that knows she has a good life, but you don't feel in love with it, then this episode is for you. I truly believe the whole purpose of having a human experience is to intentionally come back to love.
