In the early morning hours of August 8th, 2014, a woman's body would be found lying on the floor outside the Avalon Apartment complex in the Australian city of the Gold Coast. It would later be revealed that the victim, a 26-year-old woman visiting from New Zealand, had fallen 14 floors to her death.
