Our special teacher appreciation show features a night of top tier talent and hilarious comics from the tri state area. We at IYH know that teachers work hard and what better way to say we appreciate you than gathering some of the best teacher comedians we could fit in one night. Your host for this evening of laughs is the funny and talented, Jori O'Neale. Jori O'Neale is an accomplished comedienne with experience at some of the best comedy clubs in New York City. Our featured comics for the evening are none other than Fudge the Comedian, GL Douglas and opener for Kevin Hart, Lamarr Todd.Originally from Long Island, NY, John Rickenbacker Jr. Is a popular American television and media personality, actor, and comedian who is widely known for his unique style of comedy. This 4x Mcdonald’s Fest Comedy winner’s impressive resume includes starring roles on HBO Crashing, Hulu's Wu-Tang an American saga, and National Commercials.John continues to electrify the masses at events all over the world while making sure that everyone he encounters “Feel the F.U.D.G.E. Experience.Our second featured comic is none other than the "Good Girl of Comedy" G.L. Douglas. Once you meet comedienne, G.L. Douglas, you'll know why she's too much to take. G.L. isn't your average humorist. She delivers clean comedy with style, sophistication and sass. She's been seen on Showtime at the Apollo and headlined Good News Comedy and Soul Funny Comedy tours.Our third performer for the evening is Lamarr Todd. Lamarr was born and raised in Chester, PA and started acting at the early age of 12 at The People’s Light & Theater Company. He has performed in several mainstage plays for theaters along the East Coast. Lamarr is a well known East Coast standup comic. He started his comedy career at the Laff House Comedy Club in Philadelphia, PA, which led to various performances at comedy clubs & casinos nationwide. In addition to winning numerous standup comedy competitions in the Tri-State area, Lamarr has graced the stage along with Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Michael Colyar, Monique and other nationally known headlining acts. He has also starred in the Movie "Kony Montana" with comic Michael Blackson. He was recently featured on The Q Show on FOX. Lamarr also teaches Standup Comedy at Philly Improv Theater for Kids & Teens and also at local public schools in PA.
