Welcome back, Gore-Geeks!The saga of my unpredictable life continues, but I never give up easily, much like the Carpenter sisters in Radio Silence's Scream VI. To make up for being gone, I'm ending this first season with the same franchise I started with. Scream VI earns a few redemption points in my eyes as we follow the "Core Four" in New York City. As they evade another series of phone calls, murders, and movie references, lead actor Melissa Barrera steps into her own in this installment, launching her to new fan-favorite status as Sam "Loomis" Carpenter. Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode; I genuinely appreciate it! Make sure to subscribe to the Slasha Brotha YouTube channel and check out my growing playlist of fan videos.
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo, Gore-Geeks!I am back to bring you a bloody bonus episode on the Uruguayan slasher film, The Last Matinee. The film follows Ana, a film projectionist's daughter, who happens to be covering for his shift the same day a psychotic man with a growing eyeball collection stalks the theater's patrons and staff. And you thought your job sucked.  Eye Think The Fuck Not. Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode, I genuinely appreciate it! Welcome back, Gore-Geeks!I'm back returning from a long hiatus of procrastination, and also adulting to bring you the finale episode of season one of The Slasha Brotha Podcast. I can't believe my first season is nearly complete. That's right, NEARLY, because I've got one more bonus episode dedicated to Basic Slice & Dice coming soon. Not soon like 2 months from now, but soon soon. This week I sank my teeth into 2001 Maniacs, a true gore-fest full of Southern hospitality and hostility.  Scream King Robert Englund, and Scream Queen Lin Shaye head off this cast of cannibalistic country folk as they tear through a group of horny college kids on Spring Break. Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode, I genuinely appreciate it! Be sure to Subscribe to the Slasha Brotha YouTube Channel, and follow me on Instagram @slashabrotha for podcast updates.

Welcome back, Gore-Geeks!A24 is back to add another fucked up folk-horror tale to the collection with Alex Garland's Men, and I decided to see if the apple falls far from the tree.Harper Marlowe retreats to a beautiful and secluded cottage outside of London. Welcome back, Gore-Geeks!  I tried not to clown this one too bad, but unfortunately even the appearances of Christopher Plummer, Margot Kidder, Tatyana Ali, and James Duval couldn't save this forgotten 90's rhinestone.  Non-psychic-but-psychic drama-queen, Kate Williams, learns she's the long lost daughter of a murdered opera star. Seeking closure (and a panic-attack), she crashes her BFF Monica's Theatre class as they renovate the local theater. Unfortunately for the students, the same killer who murdered Kate's mother never left. Thanks so much for tuning in, I genuinely appreciate it! If I had a bull-dick totem to make wishes, I'd ask for no technical issues for as long as I live (seriously the Season 1 struggle for perfection is too REAL, but I'm determined.) In this 2002 slasher, The class tutor's life is taking a murderous turn as his fellow classmates are being picked off by someone in a skull mask and the new popular girlfriend he wished for is next on the list. Thank you so much for tuning in Gore-Geeks and sorry for the delay and tech issues this week. I'm hoping my date with some doomed camp counselors next week is much brighter than their last night alone. Tune in next week for a true campfire slasher that will drive you MAD!
THE TROPES! THE TROPES! THE TROPES! Mario Bava helps set the standard for slasher flicks of the future with this whodunnit that truly keeps you guessing who's next, who's the killer, and how many times a girl can turn around while running from certain death. Thank you so much for tuning in, Gore-Geeks! Come back next week for a forgotten 2000's slasher that WISHES it could hold a candle to some of the greats.
House of the Devil's Ti West returns to bitchsmack our expectations once again in this beautifully hilarious and raunchy gore-fest! X delivers nostalgic Texas Chainsaw Massacre grit with poignant themes of sexual freedom. The happy ending is nothing short of a BLAST!  Thank you for tuning in, Gore-Geeks! I hope you enjoyed this break-in bonus episode! Come back next week for a dive into an iconic Mario Bava classic.
