"Relationships are more than just talking, but it embodies being intentionally present in all things even when you don’t feel like showing up in that moment or that day. Many people run the risk of losing the person they’re with, when there’s no action to show that you care."Question: Which should come first when operating in a relationship? Actions or words? Scripture Reference: 1 John 3:18 – “Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”James 1:22 – “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”James 3:13 – “Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.”--Share this audio with friends and family. History Vs. Brief Time

History Vs. Brief Time

2022-05-1714:34

"The bible holds some valuable information on how we should handle people, whether they’ve been around for a long time or not. Most of us often hear the saying, do unto others as you’d want them to do unto you. This is a scripture, too. It’s not just something big mama has made up but it’s the actual word given!"Question: Does the brief time together hold more weight than the history you share with someone? How do you weigh one against the other, when having to decide on whether to keep what you have or let it go?  Scripture Reference: Proverbs 13:20 – “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Luke 6:31 – “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”Proverbs 19:20 – “Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.”--Share this audio with friends and family. "The word says when two people come together and have a moment of intimacy that they merge as one body. They become a little of each other and now energies mix, and the souls take a little of each other. An entanglement is a form of bondage. We are to be set free from bondage of all types. "Question: How many sessions does it take to get to the center of a soul tie? Then how do you untie it when time? Scripture Reference: 1 Corinthians 6:16 – “What? know ye not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.”2 Corinthians 6:14 – “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” Galatians 5:1 – “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”Share this audio with friends and family. "I remember when I first started dating on a serious level, y’all. I had no idea what I was going to do as far as the sexual aspect of things, because I was inexperienced and practically still a virgin. All I knew in my heart of hearts was that I liked someone so much that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with the person at that time. I made it clear that I knew not an ounce of a thing about making love or giving any kind of service."Question: Which is better, sex before marriage or after it? What if I can’t hold out?Scripture Reference: 1 Corinthians 7:1-40 – “Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”1 Corinthians 7:8-9 – “To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”Song of Solomon 2:7 – “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the does of the field, that you do not stir up or awaken love until it pleases.”--Share this audio with friends and family. Reference Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:19 – “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!”Question: How powerful is your mind? What exactly can you do with it?"The power of the mind is more than what you’d consider it to be. Therefore, in scripture, God instructs for us to renew our minds and to be transformed by how we think. The way you think will either make your future good or crumble it. Scripture Reference: Psalms 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 9:9 – “The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.”" That thing you’re going through is a giant, but those giants fall, and God moves mountains. So, whatever mountain you’re trying to get over just speak to it and it’ll move! SPEAK with confidence and those strongholds will break in the name of Jesus!" --Share this audio with friends and family. Scripture Reference: Proverbs 17:9 – Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.  Proverbs 17:10 – “a rebuke impresses a discerning person more than a hundred lashes a fool.”Question: Do you hold yourself accountable when you’re wrong? Or apologize to defend why you’ve committed the offense you did? "When we apologize for hurting someone and others hurting us, we should be prepared to condition our hearts to take full accountability for how we treat each other. If I cannot treat you right, then it has nothing to do with you but everything to do with me. " Share this audio with friends and family.
