Mark and Zac are back !A new series looking at life from varying perspectives with emphasis on how certain aspects of life including past experiences have created the people we have become today. This programme is for those who feel they exist 'outside of the norm' and yet somehow manage to function normally without giving too much away...if you are one of us, this space is designed for YOU !This week Mark and Zac were joined by previous contributor and fellow outsider, Vanessa Dias . Celebrating Zac's birthday inspired the group to explore age and how it impacts our behaviour, attitude  and outlook on life. The question of age also led to further discussion on the idea of numerology and whether numbers are significant, especially as Mark and Zac share a common connection with the number 28. Mark and Zac share their stories and experiences and discuss how understanding the power of 'gratitude' can open up opportunities and connections by simply being aware and  thankful for our life and circumstances. We do hope you enjoy the show and would love your feedback. You can watch us on YouTube ; https://www.youtube.com/@markandzacareoutor You can join our Facebook Page ; https://www.facebook.com/hipnot2besquare/

This is usually felt and expressed most openly during teenagehood and this is where  the discussion starts.Enjoy ! his podcast shoots from the hip and yet still throws a curveball...We do hope you enjoy the show and would love your feedback. You can watch us on YouTube ; https://www.youtube.com/@markandzacareoutYou can join our Facebook Page ; https://www.facebook.com/hipnot2besquare/

This week, Mark and Zac are joined by past contributor and follower of the show, Benny 'The Stoic Padawan' a world traveller who has just returned to his native Netherlands and back home with his parents.  A situation that resonated with Mark, who also found himself back at home, however, in slightly different circumstances. In this week's show, Benny shared the challenges of living and working overseas and realised that learning and using a different language and the ability to communicate in that language is an incredibly liberating feeling as well as building the self confidence that comes with the ability to express yourself in another language. Benny also goes on to share that he also creates and writes in other languages and how this has 'opened doors' to new opportunities and that allowing yourself to be 'vulnerable' is also a great way of getting to understand your true talents and how important it is to 'let go' of all inhibitions. One of the main reasons for our podcast show is to support and encourage those who feel the interest and desire to do something creative but haven't yet found the confidence to do so.As creative and expressive types, we can often live too long in 'our heads' and remain hidden 'in the shadows' without giving ourselves the opportunity to just try.  Did you find this podcast interesting ? This week, Mark and Zac are joined by past contributor and follower of the show, Vanessa 'The Wellbeing Blogger'. The group discuss the benefits of self expression and  being  'in the flow' with particular focus on 'Outsiders Art',  people not trained as artists but with the instinct as well as interest to release their creativity through artistic expression. It is incredibly powerful as well as therapeutic to create art and therefore people should be encouraged to 'self express' and particularly within a safe and non judgemental space in order to find their own style and process. This week, Mark and Zac discuss 'mortality'. Following the recent passing of Zac's father,  it seemed opportune to dedicate this week's podcast to one our biggest followers. As creative and expressive types, we can often live too long in 'our heads' often putting 'things off' as they appear too daunting and unrealistic to start or even complete. It is with the awareness and realisation that  we only have a limited time to actually  do those 'things' that up until now were  present only in our imagination and possibly with a little less anxiety and greater confidence. After all, what is the worst that can happen by trying ?Mark and Zac also discuss the idea of 'legacy' projects and the connection that such activities can create. Having children is often the very driving factor that starts projects, in the hope that creating something for others, we become the best and possibly truest version of ourselves. Find this interesting ? This week, Mark and Zac discuss the benefits of developing yourself by taking creative courses to develop your skills, knowledge and most importantly heighten your self confidence through practice. As creative and expressive types, we can often live too long in 'our heads' and remain hidden 'in the shadows' without giving ourselves the opportunity to just try.Courses and programmes are now readily available, either online or at arts centres in your local community. By developing your skills and ability you are allowing yourself to grow and self express which can only be a good thing, as well as potentially getting inspired along the way by meeting like minded people.Find this interesting ? This week, Mark and Zac discuss going out socially for a few drinks and whether it still holds the same appeal as it used to be. How places may change but the crowd still remain the same and... how is it that despite the financial turmoil,  people are still going out as if nothing has ever changed ?Find this interesting ? This week, Mark and Zac share insights, experiences as well as discuss the importance of having a foundation in place before any form of public performance. The integral steps required of practice and visualisation are key to ensuring that you can evolve and develop your skills, passions and interests to another level.Fundamental to this, however,  is the self belief and awareness that following your instinctive path is an integral part of who you are. All that is missing is the 'doing', practice and support from family, friends, tutors and mentors to help build that foundation to help you truly believe in yourself and gain the confidence to move away from just thought. Our podcasts use 'creativity 'and 'expression' as reference points within our discussion as they are integral parts our identity and how we  use them as tools and a method of engagement. Why not drop us a line and share your own thoughts and experiences ?Write to us at : markandzacintro@gmail.comWatch the show here ;https://www.youtube.com/@markandzacareoutYou can also find us on TikTok : https://www.tiktok.com/@markandzac

Do you find yourself asking questions at work or even within your social groups ? Does it feel as though by doing so, you feel as though  you are 'rocking the boat' of conventionality when all you are intending to do is find a justifiable reason for something ? As ‘Outsiders’ we often ask questions …as we are expressive types, it is often frustrating when we don’t understand a course of action …this can lead to us being seen as ‘difficult’ or ‘trouble makers’ when in actual fact, as expressive types, all we need is to gain some response or explanation and this is the difference between feeling included or marginalised….This week, Mark and Zac discuss the ongoing issue of looking at life from the 'outside in' .
This week Mark and Zac discuss the importance of being true to ourselves through creativity and expression.Mark  and Zac took up the Songwriting challenge and share their words and the ideas behind them. Being true to ourselves is not an easy road but one that provides us with the internal rewards that result in raising our vibration and 'Inner Light'....and in turn attracting the right situations, outcomes and people into our lives.
This week Mark and Zac discuss the concept of 'visibility', in the sense of being authentic and open as opposed to hiding in plain sight, by blending in with the 'crowd' and therefore providing  'cover' for those of us living within our comfort zones (?).'The Outsiders' also discuss how creativity is taking a step outside of our comfort zones and requires a certain amount of emotional instability in order to be creative.Mark shares some insights into his songwriting course that attempts to explore emotions through prompted topics in order to give the writer a platform  to work from.
