Description

This podcast flows from our Healing Light Prayer Ministry team gatherings at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Gladstone, NJ. They focus on connecting with God in simple practical ways. We are Christians, but invite anyone of any faith or even with no faith at all to utilize these podcasts. Each podcast begins with a short introduction and then immediately walks the listener through a quiet guided prayer. We have experienced the presence of God in amazing ways ourselves and seen Him heal others in our gatherings, and we wanted to share God's love with others. To God be the glory.

This prayer exercise guides the listener through a time of prayer that seeks to connect them with the love of God.  This exercise seeks to help the listener remove obstacles blocking them from receiving God's love fully.  It also offers a way to pray for the healing of another.  May it be a blessing to you!
This exercise is an approach to "At-One-Ment" with God experiencing the reality of Christ's atonement in your life.  It is inspired by chapter seven of Agnus Sanford's book, The Healing Light.   Agnus had a remarkable relationship with God.  She saw many answers to prayer, especially as she prayed for the healing of others.  This exercise follows her approach to start each day seeking the Presence and blessing of God.

Connecting with God

This initial prayer exercise focuses the listener on connecting with God through a series of bidding prayers.   There are periods of silence in between each.   The listener may want to pause the playback for longer periods of silence to pray.   As the Apostle Paul observed in Acts chapter 17, "In Him we live, move and have our being."  May the Lord bless you and draw you close to Him.
