Living with mental health issues can be a challange.You have some good days with not a care in the world, but a majority of the days are a struggle, some where you dont even want to get out of bed.No matter how bad things get the majority of the time we battle through, people don't understand it, they tell us to man up, stop being soft and call us weak!!It is time we end the stigma associated with mental health problems, especially in men, gamers and streamers.People ask why we spend so long gaming and streaming.Do you want the truth?? The truth is its escapism, its our safe place, we can get lost in an imaginary place and use the time to sort whats going on in our heads, we make more loyal and trustworthy friend through this escapism method than we do in real life.and do you know why that is? it's because when we are gaming and streaming we are a different person, we are the real person who is hidden behind the blocades we put up to protect ourselves .It's time for us to join and end the stigma, end the era of people with mental health issues being looked down on.if you are a gamer, streamer or infact anyone (especially male as looked at as even worse) who suuffers with mental health issues and you would like to help raise awareness by taking part in a zoom 1 on 1 or group (coffee morning style) chat to discuss the issues we face drop me a message via dm or click the link in my profile to go to my Pillar (pillar.io/thetechsurgeon) whenre you can find all my contact information.remember its ok to not be ok.please share this postP.S this is one of the hardest things I have ever writtenSupport the show
