Next up is Air Force veteran Dave Straight. He, like many others, started off in college but soon realized he needed to take a different path to getting a degree. Today we honor the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11 and the through the subsequent wars that followed.

Honoring two WWII veterans who recently passed away, the last Medal of Honor Recipient and the last surviving member of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne division. Take a listen as I talk about the lives of Hershel "Woody" Williams and Brad Freeman.

I spent Friday afternoon, May 13, 2022,  touring Motts Military Museum and spent some time talking with and listening to a few veterans. It was a great day and hope you enjoy learning about how our veterans have been honored at the museum. 

This week's episode honors two Atomic Veterans, my dad Robert Moore and Rex Mashburn. They served together on the USS Navarro in the late 1950's and participated in atomic weapons testing.
