Project Red Cord Chronicles is a Podcast dedicated to raise awareness of human trafficking, while sharing the journey of our trauma informed programs and services. We are using it to bring hope, empowerment, and restoration to those whose lives have been ravaged by this crime. In this podcast episode you will meet Jalisa Gross, LPN, the newest addition to RJEC's team. She was hired as a contracted nurse through a generous two-year grant from Three Arches Foundation and will be providing free screenings and assessments to victims of human trafficking and sexual assault. Jalisa will also be sharing information about the new mobile clinic services for street outreach, and how the RJEC Clinic will help educate the community on health and wellness through a variety of initiatives. We will start off by hosting our first quarterly Health Talk Workshop on March 11, 2023. These workshops will be led by a team of healthcare professionals and will cover topics such as nutrition, exercise, mental health, and disease prevention.
