Description

Welcome to the Western Hippie Podcast! I’m on a journey to find the best w-holistic remedies for my dogs, horses, myself, and YOU! Because we’re not just one thing. We’re not just an arm, an emotion, or a heart, we’re ALL OF THE THINGS, and it’s all connected.

My goal is to
1) Share my findings with you
2) Teach you how to develop your own holistic healing philosophy
3) And take care of your dogs and horses in a way that’s best for you and them

I promise to talk about all the things: the good, the hard, the beautiful, and the ugly and share those in the most honest and authentic way I can.

If you have a subject you want me to cover, please send an email with the subject line PODCAST TOPIC to michaelalpaluck@gmail.com

Thank you for being here at The Western Hippie. Willie and I appreciate you ♥️

The last few months have been interesting, to say the least. I've experienced depression on and off since I was at least 13, and today I wanted to have an unfiltered conversation about depression in case you're in that space too. Please remember, you are worth being well. We will let you be the judge.Full disclosure, if this is your first time hearing about human design, this episode will be confusing. If you're into country music, then there's no doubt that you have heard of Toby Keith. But truth to be told, my favorite Toby Keith songs were not any of Toby Keith's biggest hits. Sure I love Should've Been a Cowboy, How Do You Like Me Know?!, and You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This, but the songs I catch myself playing on repeat and the songs that shows off Toby Keith's writing ability, in my opinion, were never released to radio. I wanted to honor Toby Keith in this video today both as a writer and a singer. In order, here are the best Toby Keith songs that were never hits.
HEADS UP: Today we are going into details about s*xual assault, and yes, I cuss. In today's show:How single are you? Single as a pringle. First, if you have not listened to My First Experience with MDMA Therapy: Trip Report or My First Two Experiences with MDMA Therapy, I highly recommend you start there. My MDMA trip report from my second experience with MDMA therapy. I have shared my healing journey publicly over the years. It dawned on me one day, that something greater within me chose to have a public life and share my healing journey along the way, and I felt inauthentic just posting my trip reports online. So I decided to read them out loud.Today's episode is Part 2 of my trip reports from my first two experiences with MDMA therapy. If you found this episode helpful, please take a SCREENSHOT and share it to your story on Instagram. Make sure you tag me @michaelapaluck or send me a DM and let's chat.If you have any questions feel free to send me an email or DM me on Instagram.Summary:I did MDMA therapy. TWICE. It sort of feels like a confession, and I suppose it is, but it has been the most transformative thing I have ever done in my life. I decided to try MDMA for PTSD and s*xual assault trauma. It helped me so much that it would feel inauthentic if I didn't share my experiences. In this episode, I am talking as if we were talking over coffee, if you want to know what actually went on during my sessions please visit michaelapaluck.com/mdmatherapy.I hope you find this helpful and enjoy the show!DISCLAIMER:This podcast and post is not a recommendation of any kind. Welcome to my new series called Thing I was Wrong About! In this series, I'm dive into topics that I was in fact, wrong about. In today's episode, I'm diving into things I was wrong about MDMA Therapy. If anyone would have asked me 3-4 years ago if I would have even thought about MDMA therapy or any other psychedelic therapy, I would have said not only no but hell no.Not only do I feel wrong about my judgment of MDMA therapy, but I believe it is anything but a drug--it's a medicine. My hope in discussing all these topics is to help you unlock your next door for whatever that is in life, and I've always hoped in sharing my experiences whether in life or around trauma that I could ease the suffering of someone else even if it's only a little bit. If you enjoyed the episode, please leave a review and tell me what you liked most about it. :-) if you want to send me a DM on Instagram, you can do so by clicking here!Links:Tucker Max on the Mikhaila Peterson podcastTim Ferriss Resource ListBooks:A Dose of HopeTrust, Surrender, Recieve

Tune into this show to find out if you are a western hippie, and if this show is right for you!
Welcome to my new series called Thing I was Wrong About! In this series, I dive into a variety of topics that I was, in fact, wrong about. In today's episode, I'm diving into things I was wrong about around trauma. If anyone would have asked me 12-18 months ago if I knew a lot about trauma, I would have said yes without hesitation, and I did to a certain extent. One could say I knew more than 'the average person' about trauma but what I was wrong about, was a missing key to unlock the next door in my healing journey. :-)
