Stepping on Stage

I distinctly remember where and when I saw my first live concert - I was 19 and it was a tiny venue in a hotel. I stood there wondering how on earth the band was able to play a whole concert without a single sheet of music in front of them (I know a bit more about that now that I play an instrument).
Thirty (ish!) years later and I still love to watch how musicians interact on stage. I often walk away with a ton of questions that I wish I could ask them.
That's what this podcast is about.
I ask each musician to describe how it felt the very first time they walked on stage, how they have learned to manage any nerves, what the energy can feel like between them and the audience, and what is the hard work that happens behind the scenes to be capable of standing on stage to perform.
