In this podcast, we discussed the complex Danish world of talent attraction and retention from a public entity’s perspective. What are the challenges, strategies, and successes Copenhagen Capacity has faced over the years? Together with our guest Nikolaj Lubanski, we discuss from a personal and professional perspective what the actions of tomorrow should be like.
In this podcast, we discussed the importance of diversity & inclusion. How does it apply to the Finnish context and what are the infrastructures in place to support DEI. Cultural diversity is often cited in the research as a catalyst for innovation, how can we benefit the most from a diverse workforce? Where does Finland position itself in the trend? Tackling Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is becoming alarming with the current global mobility of talents. Together with our guest Priyanka Banerjee, we deep-dive into the subject from both a personal and professional perspective.Priyanka Banerjee is the CEO and Co-founder of BusinessWiz, one of the leading B2B service providers for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) services in Nordics. She is one of the pioneers in bringing the concepts and benefits of diversity and inclusion to mainstream discussion and making them accessible to the leaders in Finland. As a DEI expert, she has worked with hundreds of leaders in the Nordics helping them analyze the current status of diversity & inclusion in their companies through data, creating strategies to improve employee retention and overall inclusion, strengthening the social sustainability scores for organizations, and providing inclusive leadership and learning programs for employees.Priyanka is also one of the main organizer of the upcoming DEI Forum Nordics event organized in September (https://deiforumnordics.com/). The purpose of this conference is to change the conversation around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in our workplaces. With this event, our goal is to create a truly inclusive and representative event, where people from different demographics can come together, share their voices openly, be recognized for their expertise, and can create an impact with their work. We want to create thought-provoking conversations around DEI and help people to get a deeper understanding of the topics.
In this podcast, we discuss the importance and the benefits of offering spousal support to expatriates on short-term & long-term assignments. It is known that one of the most frequent causes of unsuccessful international relocation is the lack of adjustment of the spouse and family. Nevertheless, spouses are often left in the host environment without support and resources. Tackling the challenges of spousal support is becoming essential to stay competitive and answer the increasing need of foreign talents.
In this podcast we discussed the paradox of the country attraction campaign and the brain drain of international talents in the Nordic countries. Tackling the challenges related to recruitment and retention of highly skilled international talents– and developing innovative approaches to the delivery of retention services – is becoming increasingly urgent, particularly in this reality of aging populations.
