We have all been faced with negativity at work, and when we do, it tends to impact how we perform both professionally and personally. When dealing with negativity, especially at work, we can run the risk of forming unhealthy work habits as a way to cope. We either learn to adapt, which is unhealthy in itself. Or we end up transferring that negativity onto those around us, which is just as harmful. So there’s a struggle between adapting to toxic work environments and escaping it altogether.
