In this first episode of Yellow Tail Talks Tech The Podcast, we're going to talk about the origins of Yellow Tail Tech. Jubee, our co-founder originally had a background in management information systems, and he loves helping people get into the tech industry. He started with his family members, including his wife, when they realized the need for a program that is specifically designed for people with no IT background. In 2016, they formalized the business as Yellow Tail Tech and decided that their programs will focus on people with no IT background. This is where they saw the need and the niche, since there were no other programs that offer the kind of training that people with no IT background need. They started with Linux because the demand for people who are trained in Linux is high and there were many areas in this field where they could help people break into the industry. Yellow Tail Tech has been at it for eight years now, focusing on two programs: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux. Yellow Tail Tech wanted to become the subject matter experts in these fields and produce Linux System Administrators and AWS DevOps Engineers who can change the future of IT.
