Arteta's pre-match optimism about their potential transformative feat wasn’t far-fetched, highlighting the fine margins in elite football. The disappointment of falling short against Bayern is tempered by acknowledgment of Arsenal's inexperience and  frequent competitiveness in this European competition. There's a lot to be proud of with this team. I talked about this specifically because it not the easy way out type of endorsement. As Arsenal reflect on what might have been, they must channel this disappointment towards the strength of this squad. Arsenal were fortunate in more than one way win at home against Luton Town. Arteta took advantage of the matchup quality and rested key players with will certainly help down the stretch and give other players like Partey and Emile match fitness. It would be easy to call it a game of two-halves. But it's impossible not to preface with rustiness on these players that started. What was more important was the test in a real game scenario also giving more consideration to the ones that separated from the bunch like Emile - for one.On this pod, I shared how the first how looked and a different perspective in the second. At times, boring is good. My expectations can deal with it as long as the end goal is still meet. There was enough to highlight top 3 performers. Thankfully I didn't quite see a concern from an odd 1. The defense is really a huge credit to this team. Reset button already hit. Now we look forward to the weekend. Listen, share and subscribe. Nevertheless, Arsenal's indomitable spirit was on full display as they endured  Man City's waves of attack. On this episode I talked about how the match had was very cagey, standout performances from the likes of Saliba and Ben White and more, gave some fans something to be proud about the Gunners on this big game  - with a lot riding on it. As Arsenal reset for the remaining run-in games, they will  build from this challenge to what that lies ahead till the end of the season. Another top class performance by Arsenal at Bramall Lane. Sheffield United couldn't contain nor deal with Arsenal's ruthless display on this Monday night game. The goals from 5 different Arsenal players could be anyone's choice of their best. If you would ask me, I think the message to the Arsenal players was to respect Sheffield; despite their league standings. And they did just that, taking every ounce of consciousness to avoid any surprise - including a clean sheet. In this pod, I talked about the style of play and intrinsic gameplay dynamics by Arsenal. I could see a lot of intelligence, poise and fire from the attackers. The standards have gone way up; 2 or more goal is the expectations and it is not luck. You may argue against my top 3 players and could be right. But I can't listen for any odd 1 from Arsenal in this game. Please listen, share and subscribe. Many more interesting games ahead. More drama coming up next. Good Vibes only! This is Arsenal! We move!
Arsenal impressive 4-1 victory over Newcastle United was evident from the start. Despite the lone response from Newcastle, the Gunners showcased their superiority throughout the match - at the emirates. This win highlights Arsenal's potential as they continue to answer from a setback and the confidence towards the goal in mind.On this episode, I touched on a number of players that both I have been hoping to talk about in a positive light and others that fully deserved the special moment. There is still a long hill to climb; but now we have core players to backup this journey. We have some scars to remember - all in due time. Listen, share and subscribe. It's a great day! Up the Arsenal!
Arsenal's return to champions league knockout round of 16 left us with our teeth kicked in following 1-nil loss. It was a sloppy game in all elements representing our identity on the pitch. Could have been a plan to neutralize Arsenal; it worked. Oddly hard to cry foul when part of the plan is to frustrate Arsenal player and gameplan. While experience in European competition often wins, which is what the gunner squad is carries, that can be in our favor if we apply ourselves aptly. There wasn't much exciting highlights, but Arsenal showed grit to endure an overbearing Porto. Give the squad and missing players, I think we did well enough in terms of match up. Not the best commendation pod for Arsenal in this game. There were direct cause and effect from the defensive challenge we face. I threw all my chips in what our response will be in the second leg. There is a silver lining. For now, we had back to handle other heavy business at home. Onwards and upwards. Listen, share and subscribe. We are Arsenal!
The Gunners laid their tactical imprint on Burnley. It was too much for this relegation-battled time to hold up the attacking force Arsenal brought to Turf Moor. Burnley tried to put up a fight. But the 5-nil victory for Arsenal was certainly one for the history books in club and league history. While the scoresheet may seem like a similar dominance by Arsenal, a lot of credit goes to the critical decisions by certain players that brought the home team to its knees. In addition to the win, having some injured players back in the squad was a needed welcome for depth. There is more to this team and we are seeing how special this team is and the expectations they carry. I spoke about this on this byte-size episode and pick out my stand-out performers; especially one that isn't filling up the stat sheet, yet crucial. Each week the stakes get higher and more than ever, the belief grows stronger. It is essence of this season and a clear reference to that are the fringe players fighting for a place as a starter. Listen to my interesting take on the game and share with a friend and subscribe. Only way is up! C'mon you Gunners!
Arsenal gave Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp a deserving send off when they visited the Emirates. This was a matchup that was overdue a good outcome for Arsenal. Even the stats backed up the narratives of the game. The attack while missing a key player in Jesus did not miss a beat. And a rewarding appearance for Jorginho to drive the team with top class technical quality. It was not an easy game despite the performances. The intangibles from the home crowd and mental resilience by the players played a huge factor in staying up in the game.On this episode, I spoke about the players that kept Arsenal's rhythm and hunger strong. A lot of credit to the players on how they looked after the mishap in the first half. Certainly an area of focus for the backline and in front, Odegaard looks to be in the growing mode with his touches. I hope the boys will take this confidence and hunger to the next games. A joyous week for The Arsenal. It's a great day! Listen, share and subscribe.
Arsenal visited Nottingham Forest at The City Ground - a place that has haunted this team especially from last year's title chasing falter. This time, we held on to secure a would be comfortable victory turned worrisome. The first excitement leading up to kick off was Emile Smith Rowe in the starting lineup. That translated to the attention in Arsenal's attacking plan. Most of the positive game plan suffered the struggles and unlucky ball directions in goal attempts. Given the high demands and expectations, creativity and resilience opened things up for the Gunners to get ahead and stay ahead. There were a number of brilliant performances and luck to keep the game fate in our favor. Besides my top 3 performers, I had to call out one player deserving of a holler. This win has allowed the authority needed for what is to come this weekend. Arsenal will continue to show their mettle.  Please listen and share. Hope to connect with you all on the same vibe. Well done boys! This is Arsenal! Here we come!
Arsenal stormed in their first premier league game of the year with a bang! They hosted Crystal Palace at the Emirates and it rained goals. It was an impressive win that represented the type of wins we had hoped for in previous matches. I was surprised in this game starting from the lineup change to set piece formation and goal heroes. Given the freshness the team had benefited during their break, I was looking forward to the updated game style and strength in certain areas. Well, I can said that there was a bit more intention that showed in their play and my top performers were amongst them. Please listen and share. This is a start of the long run ahead. Credit to the boys on their display. Enjoy! This is North London Arsenal.
Arsenal closed out 2023 calendar season with a miserable dud of a loss against Fulham. Hoping to bounce back from previous loss, the team had a poor outing. Lacking energy and fight, they could not keep their early lead in the game; neither could they maintain their defensive identity. Very hard to understand this funk and what could have triggered the counter game engagement. Some players were better than the rest. Even though the whole production wasn't worth any excitement. I looked at the positives and things that will nurture our hopes each week. Please listen and share. Hope to connect with you all in the new year. Only way is North!
