Description

Welcome to the Triangle Podcast! This podcast is for members of Fort Smith First Baptist Church. Our host Janet Addison will talk with Pastor Greg and others about how being involved in the life of our church can help stretch your Transformation Triangle. The Transformation Triangle represents the three foundations of spiritual growth: our Identity in Jesus, our Relationship with Him through prayer, Bible study, and faith choices, and our Ministry to others. We’ll explore ways to deepen your walk with Jesus by strengthening and stretching the legs of your Triangle.

FBC Loves Our Littles!

A heathy church grows families, and FBC loves families, especially our littlest people! Johna Gaddis joins Janet in this episode to talk about how our church ministers to babies, preschoolers, and their parents. We don’t just babysit children while mom or dad studies God’s Word. We offer targeted biblical education to the preschoolers we serve, even the bed babies! You’ll be blessed to hear Johna’s passion for supporting families by loving and teaching their littles.Click HERE for the link to Pastor Greg’s Triangle Sermon. If you have questions about today’s content or would like to suggest topics for future episodes, please email us at TrianglePodcast@fsfbc.org. Last year Janet and Pastor Greg explored all the blessings from developing the spiritual habits listed in Matthew 5. In this episode, they finally get to the last one—persecution. Even though Christians don’t like to consider or experience persecution, the Bible clearly labels it as an indicator of how closely we’re walking with Jesus. So, please bravely listen and prayerfully think about this aspect of our Christian lives that is becoming more of a reality even here in America.Click HERE for the link to the January 1, 2023 sermon "Happy Habits for 2023"Click HERE for the link to the first episode in this series: Ep 19: "How to Be Poor in Spirit"Click HERE for the link to Pastor Greg’s Triangle Sermon. If you have questions about today’s content or would like to suggest topics for future episodes, please email us at TrianglePodcast@fsfbc.org. In this episode of the Triangle Podcast, Pastor Greg continues his series discussing “The Beatitudes” from the sermon on the mount found in Matthew 5. Pastor Greg explains how “blessed are the merciful” is a much deeper concept than many people realize. We will learn how mercy is more than just a sense of grace or forgiveness. Jesus challenges us to have a heart of mercy which is a “compassion that moves us to to care for someone in a way that alleviates the struggles in their life.” This is the essence of a Christ-like heart of mercy.  Click HERE for the link to Pastor Greg’s Triangle Sermon. If you have questions about today’s content or would like to suggest topics for future episodes, please email us at TrianglePodcast@fsfbc.org.
