Description

It's time to take responsibility for our actions! In today's world of blaming others for our situation, let's change the narrative. It's up to us to put one foot in front of the other and move forward, stay right where we're at, or move backward. Just a real, informative, and sometimes funny Podcast about life and all the things that make it great if you let it. Oh, and we talk about Business, Music, Pets, Hobbies, Faith, and a host of other things too. Should be a fun ride.

All the different genrations have their positives and negatives I suppose.  Do you know which one you bleong too?  In this episode we dive into the 3 or 4 most recent generations and talk through the good, bad and sometimes ugly part of being "labeled".  And, how does Religion or Christianity fit into each of the newer generations.  You might be surprised at the results.  Thanks and God Bless.
Why is Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day?  Where did it come from and why is it so close to the Super Bowl?  Are they both pagan festivals that were meant to be very close to each other?  Are the players in the NFL, Gods in a sense that should be worshipped and given sacrifices?  What on earth am I talking about?  Well, listen to this episode and find out.  God Bless.
I heard someone in a YouTube video once say that we are all the "CEO's of our own bank of time".  We control the minutes we have each and every day.  And we can either use them for success or waste them.  Spend them wisely or foolishly.  Just like money.  But I would argue that time is much more valuable than money.  So, I put together some tips on better time management sprinkled with my own experiences thorughout my career.  Hope they help and you enjoy.  God Bless.
God works in mysterious ways.  We've all heard it.  We all know it.  And when it's good "works" we love it.  But, there is also a side that is not so fun.  The side when you are at your wits end, down in a valley and too tired to go on that God can "work" in your life and you don't even realize it.  Or, accept the results as you are in a fog of pain. Well, as I try to be was honest and forthecoming as I can in the Podcast, this episode might be going a little too far.  You are definately going to see another side of my life that social media rarely displays.  A vulnerable, hurting and non traditional side of me that God, in his intimate and immense wisdom, pummeled out of me recently so that I could grow.  Give In.  Trust.  My journey is just one small story, but one that I hope brings healing or possibly a path for others to try.  God always has a why.  A way.  A how.  We just typically are the last to figure it out.  Here is my story.
All or Nothing Part 2

All or Nothing Part 2

If you know anything about me, when I am in on something, I am in 100%.  All or Nothing!!  Ride or Die!!!  But is that really healthy?  Is that really sustainable? According to today's culture, the answer is absolutely yes.  You're not a "man" if you don't go all in.  You're not truly committed unless you give it your all. Well, I have come to find out that it's not really a healthy or in the end, productive way of life.  But....Jesus has his own opinion about the All or Nothing proposition and this episode explores that.  I hope you enjoy!
Haven't you watched Rocky?  He put it all on the line for success, redemption, and glory across 6 different movies.  Technically, 8 if you count the Creed spinoffs.  But did Rocky teach us something else about the All or Nothing concept of thinking?  I think so, and I explain that in this weeks episode of Nobody's Fault But Mine.  I hope you enjoy it.  Yo Adrian!!!
First Episode of Season 2 and we come out swinging with a really heavy, tough topic.....NOT.  New Year's Resolution's.  Not very original I know but something worth talking about I think.  Hope you enjoy learning more about them and how they shape our culture each year.  Do you need them?  Well, listen and find out.  God Bless.Eric
In this Episode we research exactly how Christmas came about.  The ups and downs it went through over the last 2000 years and what it really represents.  Is it the real birthday of Jesus?  What exactly does it have to do with Christianity?  Alot of really heavy questions but ones that I hope to answer throughout the podcast. Make sure to listen until the end!!!  Thank you for listening and learning more about Christmas and it's place in our lives.  God Bless.
Everyone has that one person, or family member in their life.  And with the Holiday's coming up, we are forced to deal with them again.  Well, in this episode we explore Toxic Family Members, the characteristics that make them so, and how to deal with them.  Hopefully this discussion sheds light on some key things to work on or accomplish when it comes to a Toxic Family Member.
This week of all weeks is the one to be Thankful for all around you.  Your family, friends, and strangers who day in and day out help their neighbors and the human race move forward.  So, this episode is dedicated to all those out there that get up every morning and do what needs to be done.  Thank you!!!
Everyone needs to press reset every once in a while.  Even in the good times, you might just need to refocus and think about a needed change in attitude and focus.  I know I have several times in my life.  So, I put together a list of some helpful tips that I have used throughout my journey.  I hope they help you also.  God Bless.
Welcome to episode 6 of Nobody's Fault Buy Mine and I am trying to start a revolution.  No More "falling back" an hour in the Fall.  I want to stay on Daylight Saving Time.  And guess what, the United States Senate agrees with me.  We are just waiting on the House of Representatives to bring the bill to the floor, pass it and then send it on to the Presidents desk.  Well, let's push this thing through.  I want Daylight.....after 5:00 in the evening.  Hope you your enjoy this Podcast.  I want my, I want my, I want my DST!!!!!
When the going gets tough, do you get going?  Or do you retreat and head in another direction.  Well, you wouldn't be the first one to tuck tail and run.  But, what if you didn't.  What if you stood firm and tried to make your way through it.  And.....what it you made it.  How would that boost your confidence for future trials.  Or, what it you failed?  What did you really lose?  Time.  Money.  Pride.  Well, maybe you learned something that next time you can use to be even more successful.  I took a big step this year and did something I never thought possible.  Here is how it is going so far.  Thanks and hope you enjoy.
One of the biggest things in life to conquer is Fear.  It will keep you from attempting something to stopping you in your tracks if you do.  Fear is what is mostly behind you not taking action.  Not pursuing dreams.  Not living life to it's fullest.  All of us have fears.  But, with a few tips, tricks and advice, we can try and put most fears behind us.  Even all of them to a degree, with a little help from God.  Hope you enjoy this episode on FEAR.
Not sure if anyone noticed, but we went through a pandemic.  And in doing so we quickly realized that our conventional thought and wisdom about our friends, family,  faith, work and government changed overnight.  Family feuds.  Friends, unfriended each other.  Faith grew and waned.  Work stopped. And our government flip flopped and flopped some more.  What did it teach you about yourself or the world? How did this time in history change your behavior?  How did it change your opinions?  How did it change your actions?  Or did it?  We dive into that on this 3rd Episode of Nobody's Fault But Mine.   Hope you enjoy.
A little longer episode this time but we dive into how Music and Technology has influenced all of our lives over the past 30 years.  The advancements made in Technology cannot be overstated.  Huge.  And music, always has had such an impact on cultures, emotions and life.  In fact, most of you have a song that instantly brings you back to a moment in time with good memories.  Songs, artists or genres of music have such a solid place in our lives, and I am the same.  This episode explores all of that and helps explain in a little more detail why this podcast has come to exist in the first place. Thank you and I hope you enjoy.
This is my first episode ever of doing a Podcast.  Why?  Well, I have been around a while and done alot oof things in life so want to pass on that knowledge.  Experiences shape us and I have had a few.  Also, my faith is what gets me through all of it so I sprinkle that in along the way.  I hope you enjoy the message and thank you for tuning in.
