Outsider Outdoors Episode 9

“Does anyone know where the love of God goes, when the waves turn minutes to hours?”………Gordon Lightfoot in The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald.   Well, we figured it out. And you’ll be glad to know, that the love of God never fails!  The story that we tell was truly a life-changing moment for the five of us.  Vincent van Gogh was once called a saying, “the fisherman know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these danger sufficient reason for remaining ashore.”  We learned a lesson this day. The sea is dangerous, the storm was terrible, and we did not find sufficient reason to remain ashore.  We hope you enjoy the story as much as we’ve enjoyed telling it so many times! We also hope you learn something and get a laugh, or two, as well. Thanks for spending your time with us, you’ll never know how much we appreciate you listening!
There are experiences in life that can define a persons character. Through the trials and test of life, we find out, at our core, who we are. In this episode, the Outsider guys talk about our experience as a group, which has forged our friendship with unbreakable(or un-sinkable) ties. This is a two-part episode, the first part we set up the story. The second part we go into detail about that fateful Monday, where we each were able to not only strengthen our relationship with God, but with each other.  We hope you enjoy this episode, because we love to tell the tale!
In this episode, the Outside Outdoors boys get to sit down with Rob Patuto of The Stickbow Chronicles. Lots of great hunting stories told here!
