Suffering is inevitable for the Christian. It always helps to know that others are suffering with you, even the ultimate suffering servant Jesus Christ himself. Suffering Servants is a discussion of the Church, the martyrs of the faith, and the Christian life that we all live together, united to the One who suffered and died for us. We also talk with guests who talk about suffering in their various vocations (from addiction, to divorce, to grief) and proclaim to the listener that they are not alone in their suffering.
New episodes drop (most) Friday mornings. Suffering Servants is a product of the Family of God Lutheran Church in Detroit, MI. Intro music is "Finish Line" by Skillet. We don't talk about apostasy much in the church. "Falling away" is a very real thing that is plaguing the church and people don't even realize it. Scripture speaks of warnings many times and we would do well to heed to these warnings.
