On today's episode Crystal helps us understand why hard things or hard times come into our life. We first talk about the ways we handle those times. She gives us 5 different reasons/possibilities we are facing those hard times or hard things that come into our life.  First, We are in a spiritual battle. Second, God allows that hard thing to come in our life. We see this in Job's life. Third,  By our own doing, by own choices, Jonah is a perfect example. Fourth, We reap what others sowed. As children we reap what our parents sowed. Fifth, Life is just so darn hard. In this life we will have troubles. The next time something hard comes into your life or if you find yourself in a hard situation right now.  Ask God to reveal to you. ·       God why has this hard thing, or hard time come into my life? ·       God which of these 5 reasons is it? Is it any of these reasons at all?  ·       Write down what God reveals to you in your journal.·       Pray over what God reveals to you.    God loves us in our running days, and in our not so running days too. ·       This too shall pass, & brighter days are ahead.·       No Thing is too hard for God.And don't just listen—run on over and join the No More Running email list info@crystalloyd.com and share a five-star podcast review.Join the newly added No More Running Private Facebook group. Would you like to do some one-one Coaching with Crystal, email her at info@crystalloyd.com and connect with her on No More Running Facebook and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/crystalloyd2/#Music By:Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ben-johnson/the-closer-we-feelLicense code: HA7PD16JS2TQHPKASupport the show
I still remember the night I whispered a childish prayer for my future husband, never imagining the profound journey it would spark—a journey that led me to confront my deepest fears and finally say, 'No More Running.' In a candid sharing of my story, we walk through the transformative power of facing God's callings head-on, inspired by Mary the mother of Jesus. As I open up about once dreading the thought of marrying a preacher, you'll see how my tale weaves into the broader tapestry of embracing divine assignments with courage. This episode is a heartfelt rally cry for those of us who've felt the pull to run when our purpose becomes clear. By examining how Mary's faith during her visitation and subsequent blessing from Elizabeth bolstered her resolve, we'll uncover the strength that comes from steadfast belief in God's plan. It's more than a personal narrative; it's a supportive guide for women wrestling with their potential, offering a glimpse into an exciting new venture designed to coach and uplift. Join me, Crystal Loyd, as we transition from avoidance to engagement, stepping confidently into the roles we're called to fulfill with trust and belief.Music by:Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!):https://uppbeat.io/t/ben-johnson/the-closer-we-feelLicense code: 8UZEEOLKPDIOU0MXSupport the show

I have some plans for 2024, goals, new year’s resolutions, whatever you want to call them. Have you made any plans for 2024? I have been guilty of leaving God out completely. Making my own plans then asking God to get on board with them and to bless and show his favor on them, my plans, not God's plan. Before going into more of 2024, Stop and Ask God what is his details for your life, work, marriage, family, podcast, business ect.... What are the plans that you want to share with me? And when you share those with me, I pray I walk (not run) those out down to the very smallest of details. God give me wisdom and disciple to make those plans so.  God gave Noah the details on how to build the Ark "This is how you are to build it" Gen. 6:15 Crystal gives you 3 reasons why God gave Noah the details on how to build the Ark. I wanted to share an interview that I did on the Weeds, Seeds, & Beautiful Things podcast. It's my story, the in's and the out's.  It's messy, it's ugly, it's my running story. How far would you go to escape the hard truths and challenges in your life? Well, I ran all the way from God and the good things in life, hiding behind a lifestyle of partying and drinking, and in the process neglecting the divine call I was receiving. It's time we had a frank discussion about our tendencies to avoid confronting the realities of life, and in this episode, I do just that with my dear friend, Connie, from Weed Seeds and Beautiful Things. We talk about my journey of self-discovery and acceptance, and the transformation that took place after I stopped running from God's call. The story of how I found a different path with the help of a small church and a loving youth pastor is one that I hold close to my heart. My past experiences, however painful, had helped shape my calling, and it was time to face it head-on. Join us as we navigate through my trials and tribulations, taking a closer look at the importance of understanding and accepting God's plan for us, regardless of our circumstances. In this deeply personal narrative, we also explore my calling to help women going through similar experiences. Despite my initial reluctance, I realized that my hardships had a purpose: to guide women towards overcoming their abuse and finding their purpose in life. This is a testament to the fact that, regardless of what we go through, God has a plan for us, and it is always good. So let's take off our running shoes and embrace His calling, trusting in the bigger picture He has painted for us. No more running, let's face life, and its challenges, head-on.If you are interested in the Weeds Seeds & Beautiful Things you can follow them on Instagram and you can connect with the host, Constance (Connie) Lawson at www.weedsseedsbeautifulthings.com Would you like to do some one-on-one coaching with Crystal? Ever felt stuck in a cycle of disappointment, hurt, and struggle? This episode will have you finding companionship in the story of an anonymous woman, who, for twelve agonizing years, wrestled with an incurable illness. As we navigate the paths of her journey through scripture in Luke 8:42-48 and Mark 5:21-24, we will connect with her pain, her persistence, and ultimately, her unwavering faith in the healing power of Jesus. Known only by her illness, this woman's determination led her to Jesus, cutting through societal norms and legalities. Can you imagine the desperation that fueled her strength? Let's venture together through her story as we discuss the importance of bringing our own struggles to Jesus, allowing Him a chance to intervene in our lives. We'll contemplate why Jesus chose to reveal her healing publicly, turning a personal victory into a public testimony. Finally, we'll draw inspiration from her courage and unyielding faith, using her story as a beacon of hope in our own lives. Recognizing that our faith, regardless of its size, can be potent enough to spark healing, just like the woman who was brave enough to reach out to Jesus. Sandra is a busy women, she is involved in so many ministries; jail ministry, prison ministry, street ministry, speaking events sharing her story of sexual abuse, failed marriages and wanted her life to be over. She could relate to the women who was abused, who have commented adulty, who drank alcohol, lying, thieving this is the woman that Sandra was in her past. She found herself pregnant at the age of 16 and by 32 years of age she had been through 3 failed marriages she had put herself in a self-inflicted prison and thought she couldn't do this life anymore then she found herself with a gun in her hand, screaming out and this is where God found her. God told her I can heal you. She then had to start the process of forgiveness and being honest with her children and sharing her past with her husband. God told Sandra; I have much plan for you. God had to break her to be able to pick her back up. She no longer carries the titles of abused, adulty, thieving, liar. God has given her new titles; a daughter, sister, mother, wife, minister, grandmother, founder of a ministry, a daughter of the most high God. On today's episode we welcome back our guest Jackie Hayden. We continue our open and honest, heartfelt conversation about our hurt while in the ministry. We start out at looking at Jer. 20:5 and feeling like the Lord had deceived us. We knew we were called in the ministry but didn't sign up for the hurt. Ministry has a way of giving us many surprise some good and some bad. And when the hurt happens to you, you are blind sighted. The hurt is so devastating and rejected by what you thought was your people and you feel like an outcast and like you have leprosy. Hurt in the ministry can make you feel like you are no longer wanted or needed. Jackie shares during those times that she probably wasn't where she needed to be in her Christian walk. She realizes there is a lot more to church than just showing up at church and praying with someone. There is a difference in telling someone how to get their healing but believing God can and will in your own life. She shares how she suppressed all the hurt. But God called her to go fishing and to dig up her past to be able to use those things in your past to help other pastor's wives. She realizes it's a choice to come out of the hurt and now refuses to stay in the hurt. Jackie shares some advice to help other women and pastor's wife who may have been or are going through hurt right now in the ministry.First, Get alone seek the Lord. Second, Dig into God's word. Third, seek out someone who you can trust to talk to. Fourth, pray for yourself, healing for your heart. She wants those that listen to remember that Satan is the master of lies. They pastored very successful churches throughout their years in the ministry. Until that day came in 2012 and everything changed when they were asked to leave the church they were with for 12 years with no explanation as to why or what they did wrong. Then had two days to clean out his office. She questions if this is what God wants or what people want? Felt betrayed and hurt by God's people.  It ruined them financially then lead them to file bankruptcy. They struggled for hers. They spent 7 years without a church home. Wondered why isn't God using us? Had God forgotten about us? While talking to her cousin she was sharing her bitterness, anger & hurt with her. And her cousin asked her a question, Is God enough? The question opened her eyes, and ears spiritually. Is God enough? She realized that yes God is enough. And the hurt was an opportunity for God to work in her heart, and her life and God would work things out his way. She had forgotten that God was her strength. She had forgotten that God was her joy. And God restores her heart, and her joy. She clings to Jer. 29:11, Ps. 42:11. Jackie has helped to start a ministry network for other pastor's wife to be together and a safe place for them  to share in her area.  And now shares her story at ladies events and offers life coaching to other women and pastor's wife. God put her on a new path in this life and is doing everything she can to help women on their path in life. Jackie would love to share her story at your next lady's event. This is part two of Jonah the runner. If you haven't listened to episode #8, I encourage you to go back and listen to it as well. On today's episode we are going to look again at Jonah, the perfect example as a runner. We know that Jonah has run, and that he put his running shoes on and took off in the opposite direction of what the Lord has instructed him. Then we look at Jonah 1:4 And we see here that because of Jonah's running, then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up. When we choice to run away from God we cause God-violent storms to come into our life. Then we start the blame game. We blame God, God why did you do this? We blame our husbands, we blame our children, we blame our parents. It's not always God's fault, or our husbands, our children, or even our parents, or family’s fault. However, when we run Satan loves when we are disobedient. He will have a hand in it. He is like yes, this is great, don't do it, run fast hard, keep running. How darn God ask this of you anyway. When we are disobedient and run, we do the work for Satan, and he loves it. God uses storms in our lives to get our attention. I give you three points here in today's episode. First know this when we choice to run away from God we cause God-violent storms to come into our life. God loves chasing rebels and will come after us. Do keep in mind when we run, we are not the only ones who suffer from our storms. Maybe it's our children, our marriages, our parents, our church families and even strangers that suffer because of our disobedience. Because of our choices. Second ask God, Did I cause this storm by running, by my disobedience, by my choices I have made?  If in fact you have caused this storm in your life. Third we need to repent. Ask God to forgive us and turn and run toward God and what he has instructed for us to do, to go, to be. David is a perfect example of when we sin and how we should repent, read Psalm 51 David confesses to God for I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight. He asks God to create in him a pure heart. I know that I want to go from running to no more running. Let's look at Acts 13:22 God chooses David a man after his own heart; he will do everything I want him to do. I know I want to be more like David a woman after God's own heart and do everything God wants me to do.  I pray today will be the day that you choose to stop running and surrender. Ok God NO MORE RUNNING, I SURRENDER.   If you are ready to go from running to no more running let’s work together, I am a life coach and would love to work with you.
