Description

Struggling to find the time to workout? Dealing with weight gain in the midsection or low belly pooch?  Lack the energy or confidence to know how to begin?

In this podcast we will provide you with actionable tips to help you create more movement in your everyday life, help you to find ways to stack your habits so you don't spend hours in the gym, provide information to help you understand the midsection weight gain, all while helping you to gain confidence and begin losing weight.

Hi, I'm Courtney a business owner and mom of 3 who has been working with moms for over 15 years.  I struggled with making that Core Connection after having 3 C-sections myself and continue to work through the different stages of motherhood and the weight from perimenopause.

I have learned that through Posture and Breathing, along with whole body movements we can begin to strengthen and reconnect to our core.  I have also helped many moms heal Diastasis Recti, lose postpartum and perimenopausal weight gain, and feel comfortable and confident in their body once again.

If you are ready to strengthen your core, lose the midsection weight, and gain the confidence you know is deep inside than this podcast is for you.

Take a deep breath and join me on the mat as we discuss how to lose the midsection weight.

Discover how to reclaim your body and mind from the clutches of perimenopause in this enlightening episode. As a mom of three and a personal trainer, I get real about the connection between your hormones, habits, and the stubborn weight gain around your midsection. We'll dissect the signs and symptoms of perimenopause, and how it can sneak up on women as early as 35. We'll help you recognize the role of stress and inflammation and how certain lifestyle choices can lead to insulin resistance and increased belly fat. We'll also affirm the importance of acceptance in this process - your body is changing, and that's perfectly okay.Moving forward, we'll discuss practical steps to manage perimenopause effectively. Did you know that reducing your carb intake and increasing strength training could be game changers during this transition? We'll also chat about how everyday activities, like gardening or redoing furniture, can double as strength training opportunities. We'll talk about the power of digital detoxes and how taking a break from our screens can help reduce stress and increase moments of connection and reflection. Remember, listening to your body is crucial during this time. Tune in and start your journey of understanding and embracing perimenopause with us.Join our FB Community to see those Core Exercises that I am sharing.Support the showHead to www.midsectionmama.com to learn more!

No matter what part of the journey you are on within motherhood one thing many of us struggle with is the area of the lower abs. For some it has to do with having a C-section and the nerves no longer responding, for others it may have been a hard labor or larger baby, and for many others you may not have had a problem until you started with Perimenopause. Whatever your reason is for struggling with the lower abs, it is ok and understandable and I want you to know that you can reconnect to your lower abs and begin to strengthen them.
