We sat down with Ryan Marsden, the Executive Director of the Recovery Café and President of Rise Recovery. With personal experience in long-term recovery, Ryan recognized a need to connect individuals with the resources to cope with and overcome trauma, substance abuse, grief, and other struggles in safe spaces. These organizations provide needed resources for treatment and live-in residential services. The goal is to get individuals out of isolation and build community. Ryan talks about creating a safe and judgement-free space for all.
