Typology is a device often used in the scripture to illude to or foreshadow the coming of Christ and His work in redemptive history, but we also often see typology in the created world. God is so generous that He places reminders of His character and plan even throughout His creation (such as the seasons being a reminder of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ).
