El concepto de un Dios Trino es muy difícil de entender, y es imposible de comprender, por la sencilla razón de que no tenemos nada en nuestro mundo que tenga una existencia comparable. Los humanos, las criaturas más complejas que conocemos, existen como personas individuales, no como un grupo de personas unidas. Dios es infinitamente más grande que nosotros; por lo tanto, no deberíamos esperar estar en capacidad de entenderlo por completo. La biblia enseña que el Padre es Dios, que Jesús es Dios, y que el Espíritu Santo es Dios. También enseña que hay solamente un Dios. Aunque podemos entender algunos hechos acerca de la relación de las diferentes personas de la Trinidad entre sí, a la larga, es incomprensible para la mente humana. Sin embargo, esto no significa que la Trinidad no sea verdadera o que no está basada en las enseñanzas de la Biblia. La Trinidad es un Dios compuesto de tres personas. Entienda que de ninguna manera está sugiriendo tres dioses. No hay nada de malo con usar el término "Trinidad", aún cuando la palabra no se encuentra en la Biblia. Este es un término utilizado para procurar describir al trino Dios, y la realidad de que hay tres personas coexistentes, coeternas que son Dios. In this podcast, our aim is to encourage you to kneel before the Lord without instilling guilt. Prayer, we believe, is not merely one solution among many, but indeed the ultimate solution. Let's ponder: What could be behind the waning interest in prayer? It's important to acknowledge that prayer doesn't necessarily come naturally to us. As society has advanced technologically, it has successfully addressed the challenges that earlier generations faced. In the current era, our reliance is heavily placed on professionals and their expertise. The rise of smartphones has significantly impacted us, consuming a considerable amount of our time and inadvertently affecting our intellect.A recurring phenomenon has been viewing God predominantly as a solver of problems, rather than embracing Him as a loving Father seeking fellowship and closeness with us. Our perspective should encompass the fact that God earnestly desires to listen to us, leaning in attentively despite His all-knowing nature. It's worth considering that our inclination sometimes leans toward reshaping His will to align with ours, rather than truly seeking it. We sometimes engage in prayers driven by our worldly desires, but the essence lies in establishing a profound spiritual connection with God. The materialistic cravings of the flesh tend to overshadow the offerings that God presents. Disinterest might settle in when our desires are unmet, leading us to believe that God isn't listening due to His perceived reluctance to grant our wishes. There's room to explore the vast array of blessings that God extends, rather than fixating on what He hasn't explicitly promised. Curiously, a "no" from God can paradoxically illuminate the path to discovering His purpose. Support the Show.

El evangelio no es solamente un mensaje para recibir, sino también para proclamar. Una vida centrada en el evangelio rendirá  todo al evangelio, y entregará cada momento, oportunidad, y recurso a la misión de Dios.  El gran uso de la vida es de invertirla en algo que durará toda la eternidad. Los viajes misioneros del presente han ido perdiendo su propósito original, ahora para muchos es un tiempo de vacaciones, de conocer una nueva cultura. También se está confundiendo lo que es el altruismo y la filantropía con las misiones. Claramente podemos darles de comer, suplir medicamentos, o donarles ropas, pero esto no nos diferencia a las misiones comunitarias que hace el mundo. No hacemos nada en cubrir sus necesidades físicas, y no presenter el evangelio que es el que llena la mayor necesidad del ser humano que es espiritual. Support the Show.

Un mal evangelismo produce falsos cristianos con falsas esperanzas. Nosotros no cambiamos el mensaje para que la gente lo acepte, predicamos el mensaje tal como es porque es el que cambia a la gente. La prioridad de este mensaje no puede ser negociada, porque entonces terminamos con personas en el reino que no están dentro del reino, personas en la iglesia que no son iglesia.  Con lo que los ganes para tu iglesia, con eso tendrás que mantenerlos. Cuando le das razones superficiales, motivos materiales,  estarán en la iglesia temporalmente, pero sí le das la causa y la promesa eterna del evangelio, estarán permanentemente. Si no les das el evangelio, no le estás dando la mejor razón para permanecer. Si el evangelio no es suficiente para alguien, entonces nada más lo será. Debemos cuidarnos de no comunicar únicamente los beneficios de la salvación, y no transmitir el costo de seguir a Cristo. Al hacer esto construimos cristianos que solamente conocen a Jesús como Salvador pero no como Señor.Support the Show.

Biblical hermeneutics is the study of the principles of interpretation concerning the books of the Bible. In today's podcast we will discuss the need for biblical expositors to have a basic knowledge of hermeneutics. We begin by defining what exegesis and eisegesis are. Later, we were talking about the methods to do an exegesis of a verse. We must look at the direct and indirect context of a passage. We have to take into account the original language of the scriptures to be able to interpret  hebraisms. The parallel passages, the cultural and historical context also shed more light on the meaning of the verse. To conclude, we talk about the consequence of not considering the importance of hermeneutics in the church. Support the Show.

En este episodio estaremos exponiendo la mala interpretación del verso en 2da de Corintios 3:6 que dice  "la letra mata, mas el espíritu vivifica." Muchos sacando el texto fuera de su contexto, han interpretado que la "letra" significa el estudio bíblico, de esta forma afirmando que la teología no es relevante en la vida del cristiano. Pero haciendo una buena exégesis entendemos que la "letra" se refiere a ley, la cual no tiene poder para salvarnos. La mala interpretación de este versículo ha promovido una apatía y un desanimo hacia escudriñar las escrituras. Es hora de retomar la pasión por el estudio bíblico, desde la niñez hasta la vejez, porque las escrituras son el medio por el cuál el Espíritu se manifiesta. Support the Show.

In today’s podcast we will discuss if we should do apologetics on social media. We can enter in the marketplace of ideas, but we destroy arguments, not people. Good apologetics have the final goal of evangelism, taking people to Christ. Winning intellectual arguments does not equal evangelism. Entering into a contest of theology to show who has more knowledge is not what the Lord call us to do. A good apologist must have three things: ethos, pathos, and logos. Is not only about knowing doctrine, but showing the fruit of the Spirit. It is dangerous when christians debate other christians on social media platforms, especially if it harms the testimony of the Church. Support the Show.

Muchos quieren a Jesús como Salvador, pero no como el Señor de sus vidas. El llamado de Jesús a seguirlo requiere compromiso. En este podcast estaremos explicando la paradoja de que ser esclavos de Cristo es la mayor libertad. El plan que la cultura empuja es compartimentar nuestras vidas para que no tengamos un señor absoluto.
