Our guests on this episode are: Matt Albence, USA-IT Spokesman & former acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Kristin Reif, Director of External Affairs, Philip Morris International (PMI) They are from an initiative known as United to Safeguard America from Illegal Trade (aka USA-IT).  This is a public education campaign with a mission to combat black market trade. USA-IT is backed by a coalition of national and state brand enforcement experts, law enforcement agencies, and leading business organizations. The initiative provides information and training programs.  Through these educational efforts, USA-IT supports local officials, law enforcement, and thought leaders as they work to tackle illegal trade and raise public awareness of the depth of the problem as well as the severe consequences inflicted on states and municipalities by black market profiteers.The Illinois Chiefs are one of the 18 partners who have joined forces with USA-IT to combat illegal trade.
