Role Playing Public Radio presents a weekly Actual Play podcast of tabletop role playing game sessions. We play a wide variety of RPGs, from popular classics like Dungeons and Dragons and Call of Cthulhu to indie hits like Red Markets and Fate. Some of our episodes are stand-alone scenarios and we also feature ongoing campaigns in games like Delta Green, Eclipse Phase, and Base Raiders. The Muse Squad heads into the Orchestra, a massive pre-Rifts underground facility used by the American military for scientific research. It is the birthplace of the Muses and the origins of the Symphony of the End. Due to the rifts, it has expanded as a fractal, with numerous variations and permutations. Rival factions are trying to take the Orchestra over, and the Muse Squads means to keep them out. The Coalition has built a beachhead outpost in the Orchestra and the Tomorrow Legion wants it destroyed!

The agents have to capture their first target, a psyker currently trapped in a fortress under siege! They'll have to travel to the frontlines, find a way into the fortress and then capture Nova the psyker. Not an easy task, especially for a psyker who can see the future, but perhaps their secret weapon, Lim the Null can save the day.

The agents arrive in Damnadon, the hive city capital of Castum 2, a Knight world currently embroiled in a civil war. The team must secure a base before they can begin capturing psykers. They'll have to navigate the bureaucratic hell of the city, rescue a tech priest in legal limbo, and more if they hope to succeed!

I have been thinking about making a second edition of Base Raiders. Back in October 2022, I ran a playtest to try out some ideas before I focused on the night clerk zine. I recently remembered that I had this epsiode, so here it is. Tom and Chris make characters and then we try a short adventure. Enjoy!
The Coalition has imprisoned a person imbued with a Muse spirit, although they don't know the person has the Muse. The Tomorrow Legion Muse Squad has to break her out of Neo Folsom Prison before they discover her unique power. Some of the team goes undercover as prisoners while others work on the outside to pull off the heist.

The Prayerbooks of Lethe is a dangerous tome. It contains the knowledge of an obscure cult, the Drowners of Lethe, connected to dozens of murders and disappearances in the last century. The book has surfaced in the listing of an estate auction. Three agents are sent to the estate to retrieve the Prayerbooks before the auction is held. The horrors they encounter inside are beyond their imaginations.

A nuclear missile from the pre-rifts era became self-aware and lives in the mall as a benevolent advisor to the inhabitants. It is willing to sacrifice itself to protect the mall but the heroes want to save everyone, even the missile. Can they save the day?
