Found the name of this podcast in the back pages of my copy of "Wastelands". Really glad I found this, as well as the names of other anthologies by John Joseph Adams.

A lot of overthinking the technology in this podcast. Why didn't she have to update her parental unit after being in storage for years. Lol, well the company was shut down so no company equals no updates.

As I have a real commute for the first time, I thought I would give this podcast a listen (I found it through i09). It is simply unbelievable! What a great book list I now have. Sci-fi/fantasy/horror readers take note! Writers, listen up! It's all the geekiness a girl could want. And witty too!

I don't get all the 5 star reviews for this podcast. The host's verbal skills make me cringe constantly. I wouldn't bother listening in a zillion years if it wasn't for some of the guests. The hosts obviously make up of list of questions to ask each guest that are read in monotone. No matter how the guest's answer begs for further comment or questioning, about 90% of the time to hosts ignore what is said and go straight to the next, usually unrelated, monotone question. I usually end up feeling mortified for the guest. However I suppose it's almost better for the hosts to stick to their script because when they ad lib their sentences are peppered non-stop with "like", "um", "okay". I don't get how they've managed to last.

This podcast is hosted by one of my favorite editors and one of my favorite writers working today. Not only do they know how to create great genre culture, they extend that knowledge to asking smart questions that engage their all-star line-up of guests. The interviews are consistently stellar, even when interviewing guests that don't have a history of giving engaging responses to less familiar interviewers.
