love the pod. but how are we going to talk about trail blazers needs and not talk about defense more ?! there defense all year was horrible, bottom of the league horrible. even with Zach and nurkic they were terrible. what are the blazers going to do about that? also don't pretend that rodney hood and mid 30s ariza are going to take a bottom ranked defense and even put them in the top half of the league. I don't believe Portland can be a contender until they figure out the defense. They can be a playoff team but not a championship team without something changing on defense.
