Podcasting In PERSON Jules visted canada and we sat down to review the TV show that reviews life. Review with Forrest Mcneil is on the block this week, but is it any good? There is also much talk about Mr.Robot now that it has finished airing, there is much to talk about. Much Beer is also consumed

Ep46- Unreal / Impastor

EP46 - Unreal gets an unreal review. In by that we mean it is good. Both of us really enjoyed this show, and are impressed by Lifetime for putting an edgy show out there. Also on the block is Impastor, the pseudo banshee rip off, Ryan really likes this light comedy, but Jules thinks she is better then it.
ep45 - Mr.Robot / Sense8

ep45 - Mr.Robot / Sense8

2015-08-0201:14:49

Ep45 - Our early pick for best show of the year? Possibly. We review the amazing and brilliant Mr.Robot. Ryan gushes like a little girl at a 1D concert and loses his mind on the talent of Remi Malik. We also talk about Sense8, Could Netflix original be a informative and entertaining story or is it just meh? Also we chat about the disappointment that is True Detective s2. Ryan makes some wild and totally unfounded allegation., what else is new.
Ep44 - Jules, Our intrepid report returns with the all the hot scoops from SDCC. We talk about some of the new shows that are coming out and what you should be excited for, and what you shouldn't even bother. This is the last episode before Jules watches Mr.Robot, so she is a little young, a bit naive. All that will change in the next episode. She will finally Wake up!
ep43 - Last man on earth and Happyish. Releasing this podcast a little early to cover for vacation. Hope to have a new one for you in early July. Ryan and Jules yak about Last man on earth, Jules isn't too keen on the male dominated plot.,. Ryan feels okay about it. We also get into some deep talk about Showtime's Happyish. WE get all like,... smart and stuff about writing,., cause we are pretty much pros.
Ep42 - Ryan and Jules take an axe to Lizzie Borden Chronicles and then Grace and Frankie is on the table. Will they like it? Hard to say. We also talk about Jules crazy Con schedule and Ryans film making.
Ep41 - We get super Gay Rainbow for the show this week with our guest host and TV writer Robert Berens. The Gay Agenda is in full swing with Confirmed bachelor Bob joining us to talk with us about two queer centric TV shows Cucumber (and its companion program Banana) and we also talk about HBO's Looking. We do touch on some other gay shows such as The L word, Queer as folk and others. Don't fret friends, Ryan didn't get too much gay all over his face and most of it just washed right off anyways. It was great to have Bob join us and hopefully we can have him back some time.
We review Izombie, and Daredevil and talk in great length about the new Star Wars teaser trailer that was released this week. Join us a we wrap our delicious brains around the CW show Izombie, and take a blind leap of faith with Netflix / Marvels DareDevil. Also its doesn't get better then a NEW FREAKING STAR WARS TRAILER.
Reviewing Better call Saul and The unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. As your attorney we advise you to watch the soon to be classic AMC show Better Call Saul. Its like Breaking Bad without the drug making criminals. Then get super adorbs with The unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. Ryan and Jules have the hots for Ellie Kemper., No big surprise there.
Due to crazy schedules and chatty hosts we don't actually cover any new TV series in this episode. "Why put it out" you may ask., and to that we say "Come on, lets try and stay positive okay? We want your feedback but keep it constructive. Come with solutions, not problems" We do talk about all the shows we are watching, so there is some TV related talk. We also discuss the movie that Ryan is directing.
This week we get all Chivalrous with the singing show Galavant and Chaste with Jane the Virgin. Does Ryan like show tunes? Tune in to find out. Does Jules like virgins? Tune in to find out.
ep36 - Schitts creek and Man Seeking Woman. Two new comedies coming at you this week. Schitts creek the CBC comedy by Eugene and Daniel Levy and the FXX series Man Seeking Woman. Jules relates to the age old story of girl meets Japanese Penis Monster that we have all heard so many times. Ryan expresses his fondness for Schitts creek and Jules relays some dumb thing about a canoe made with barbwire. I mean seriously who the fuck would make a barbwire canoe. I don't know what is wrong with Australians man, seriously. They seem normal and western then all of a sudden they come out with barbwire canoes. I blame the heat, me,., figure too much sun has friend some of their brain area. But you know who I feel the worst for. The Kiwi's. Honest good folk who are always under the boot heel of those sun fried Kangaroo fuckers. Anyways. Comedy.
Ryan and Jules take a look into the Black Mirror. The amazing anthology of wacky futuristic tales. And also they review the TNT Sci/fi adventure series The Librarians. Much fun was had, Recognize.
We are back for a new year. After a well deserved break Ryan and Jules are hitting the shows hard to bring you the best reviews of TV series. This week we talk about the Netflix original Marco Polo and the Amazon original Transparent. Jules celebrates as Netflix is finally coming down under (that doesn't sound right).
