Description

"A show, not because I have the answers, but because I value deep conversation around the questions." Join Suzanne Wigginton and her wonderful guests as they engage in soulful exploration!

There will be a topic and some direction to go with it, but that direction will be held loosely to allow for the insights and inspiration that result from the magic of great conversation.

As a listener, you can tune in and claim a little of that magic as your own, or at the very least be engaged with your own ideas, thoughts and feelings on our topics.

Whether it's for a cause, a community or an individual, how do the nudges (or shoves) toward service show up in our lives? How can we find time in the midst of constant and ongoing daily life demands to honor where we are drawn to serve or what we feel pulled to create or build? How do we stay true to our "mission" once we accept and embark on this kind of a journey? These are the questions we held in our discussion. Joining me for this topic is Robin Carlton. Robin is a teacher, writer, visionary artist, intuitive, coach, consultant, Mom and wife.  She is the founder and managing editor of ArizonaMindBodySpirit.com and has been on her own path of self-discovery and service for a long time.Robin finds purpose helping others see the possibilities, find their gifts and live happy, creative, successful lives. She is also the creative visionary behind, Ladies Healing Day a special event held for women here in Arizona that I am blessed to be a part of this month. You can find Robin and follow her endeavors at the following links:www.arizonamindbodyspirit.comwww.ladieshealing.comwww.enchantedelementals.com
I'm so happy to say that in the current economic landscape, many brave and talented folks have taken the leap into starting and growing their own businesses, bringing the stirrings of their hearts and souls out into our world. In a culture that encourages and expects BUSY as a constant state of being, many have lost touch with how to STOP and truly rest.... even for a moment. In this episode we'll explore sacred stillness as a concept and delve into how my guest, Sonja Haller is experimenting with her own practice of sacred stillness in her blog project: 52 SABBATHS.In her words, "I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. I want to feel more peace. I want to feel less anxiety. I’ve always wanted these things and one night I had a dream in which that small, wise voice told me to take a Sabbath. The voice was that of my editor who would blush if I told him I dreamed of him.I took it as a sign. Now whether this secular girl can find any of that in her experiment to experience 52 Sabbaths with all the dedication mustered in an overstuffed life remains to be seen. But I’m forecasting that at the very least I will have found a deeper connection with something, someone or myself.Find Sonja online at:http://www.sonjahaller.com/https://www.facebook.com/52Sabbaths
