Description

A Sexual Empowerment Podcast focusing on empowering women to have the audacity to take up space in this world, to say fuck it to the rules that society tries to push on them, and to be audacious as fuck every. single. day.

Amanda King is an empowerment coach who helps women claim their self confidence, have the audacity to say fuck it to societal standards, & step into their power. In only three years, she was able to grow her brand, Fierce as F*ck, to over half-a-million dollars using organic marketing techniques. After spending many years working in corporate America as a pastry chef, she left it all behind to build her unique brand of ‘blue collar coaching,’ a strong antidote to the glossy #bossbabe entrepreneurship that’s peddled online ad nauseam.

She focuses on leading with integrity, vulnerability, transparency, and most importantly authenticity. She strives to help every entrepreneur find their voice, be bold, and take up as much space as humanly possible in this world.

Amanda currently resides in Virginia with her three dogs and enjoys spending time with her many (seriously, there are a lot of them) nephews and nieces.

“I sat there and I saw it was less money than I made last year and I went into - what did I do wrong?” In Episode 80 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I take you behind the scenes of one of my biggest triggers that arose during a major change in my business during September of 2021. I bring you through my own verbal processing of this trigger to show you not only how people with undefined throat centers in their Human Design Charts need to verbally process the emotions they are feeling to move through a trigger they are experiencing, but to also tell you that “If you’re turning a profit - that’s all that fucking matters!” If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! Losing It All Tomorrow

Losing It All Tomorrow

2020-10-0716:36

“I felt like in the eyes of the industry, in the eyes of myself, I wasn’t as relevant as I was last year, and that freaked me the fuck out.” We are all going through this crazy journey with 2020 and I feel like it’s so important to talk about this. In episode 78 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am diving into the fear we feel around losing our business. We could talk on and on and on about how 2020 completely changed our lives, but as we are entering into the Fourth Quarter of the year, I want to talk about the fear we feel when we go through drastic situations. In this episode, I share with you my earnings from August of Last Year and my earnings from August of this year and dive deep into the emotions that brought up and how I changed my mindset to push me into the best quarter! “Everything we do is leaving a ripple effect on the generation behind us. You may not love your body but allow your daughter to love hers.”    I have been feeling really called to have this conversation with anybody who needs to hear this. In episode 77 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am diving into body image issues and how you can learn to own the body you’re in. I also want to talk more about the ripple effect that these body image issues have on the younger generation.   You don’t need to f*cking love your body, and this is going against every self-love body positivity person in the entire world, they can come at me with pitchforks. The fact is, there will be women in this world who will never love their body and battle body image issues. I’m not going to shame them for it, you need to do whatever the f*ck you need to do.    There comes a time when you have to recognize it’s no longer about the relationship between you and your body. It’s how little girls, especially your own, are seeing you perceive your body. That’s what it’s about.      If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “We shouldn’t be creating problems in our business just to have something to discuss in a one on one container. That’s not the container I will provide anymore.”   I won’t lie to you ladies, I blocked my one on one offerings for an entire f*cking year. In episode 76 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am diving into how you can avoid making the same mistakes I did when it comes to one on one coaching. I also want to talk more about the approach and perspective that we, as coaches, should embody when it comes to one on one coaching.   I will no longer hold space for a container that is so pressure-packed and focused on solving problems. I want to hold space for people who want to celebrate, and not spend 6 months in an energetic low. I want to support and guide you, not just aim to fix your problems.    If you are not aligned with how other people are doing things and this pressurized situation, build your one on one container so that feels aligned to you.     If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “I surrendered the universe. I said f*ck it, I don’t care. If I hit this goal that's great. If I don't, I’m still a badass. That’s when the magic truly f*cking happened.”   I want to talk about goal setting and how beautiful, yet, f*cking terrible it can be. In episode 75 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am diving into the entire concept behind goal setting and why you have to be mindful about how much attachment you allow yourself to the outcome of those goals.    You have to detach yourself from what that number means about you, it means nothing about you. You are f*cking incredible and you are a great coach. You will change the world, I promise you that. A number is nothing but a number. The second you allow yourself to let go of the outcome is the second you start realizing you are a powerhouse.    You are incredible and you are everything you are meant to be at this moment. You will reach goals in the future, do not tie yourself to one goal right now.     If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “We’re told to get into flow and embrace the feminine energy but you can’t have flow without the masculine, flow comes once you hustle your ass off.”   I’m feeling really called upon to touch on this subject of feminine energy. In episode 74 of the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing a view that I have on making money by utilizing feminine energy that many coaches may not agree with. I’m so sick of people exploiting feminine energy to make money in their business or just to get more sales.    You cannot live in a world full of just feminine energy if someone has told you that now, let me be the one to tell you that’s a crock of f*cking sh*t. You can’t have one without the other, if any coach thinks you can, they’re wrong.    To have those weeks where you don’t have to do anything and go on vacation with your family but still make money doing it, you need to have those weeks of hustle and launching your programs.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “How do you become one with yourself again? First, acknowledge that version exists. Secondly, acknowledge your f*cking mistakes. Three, take responsibility.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am sharing my recent experience in a virtual mastermind that I invested in, and the beautiful outcome from the inner-work we did.   Over my evolution in the last year and a half, I have been really struggling. 2020 has been a year, I'm sure we can all agree. Ever since 2020 rolled around, I have these high hopes and expectations where I put this insane pressure on myself.   Live wonderfully, have so much love and abundance. Own your sh*t, forgive yourself, and then live the best life that you f*cking deserve.   You have to give yourself sympathy and empathy. You have to look inside yourself and forgive yourself, release all the bullsh*t.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “Your life could be magical because manifestation is magic. Manifestation is like Santa Claus, if you don’t believe it works, then it’s not going to work.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am talking about the power of manifestation and how you can create everyday magic in your life.   As I watched my niece and nephew let their imagination run wild and envision their dream home, they never once stopped themselves and thought it was impossible or unrealistic.    This made me step back and realize how often we as adults sit there and instantly feel guilty for wanting something or adding excuses as to why we can’t achieve something.    I hope that today you take one minute to let yourself dream, without getting into the reality or inner-critic room. I want you to dream so big it makes your head f*cking explode. “I figured the next-level version of me had to be someone completely different, and that I had to detach from someone last year and show up like one of the elite coaches making multi six-figures. That’s all so wrong. Stepping into the next level version of yourself is all about realizing there’s so much potential.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we are talking about the importance of having the mentality that you’ve got nothing to lose in order to show up for yourself and your business.   In 2019, I ran my business based on intuition and threw logic out the window, it worked out beautifully. In 2020, I showed up like a scared little b*tch.   I realized that stepping into the next version of myself doesn't mean I have to become a different person. You don’t have to lose a piece of your identity to become the next level version of you.   If you’re going through a time right now where you just feel pressure, I get you boo. It f*cking sucks. “This is the biggest f*cking secret you will ever hear about launch strategy, launching only works if you LOVE your launch. Just because one coach had a strategy that worked for them does not mean it will work for you.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am talking all about launch strategy and how no strategy will work for you if you cannot get behind it energetically!   A launch is SO simple and yet we complicate the process because we think we need to copy other coaches and implement the exact strategy with no adjustments.    You have to develop your own personalized launch strategy.   You can look at all these other coaches and take little pieces of their launch strategy that feel authentic to you, but YOU have to create your own launch strategy. If you ever come into a launch with bad energy, your launch will SUCK.   Make your launch strategy personalized to you and I guarantee you will have great results because you will show up like a f*cking boss. Most importantly, you will be having FUN!   If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “It is completely okay if you get up on a live video and you f*cking bomb it. Do not use messing up as an excuse to not show up on lives anymore. SHAKE IT OFF. It’s like riding a bike, live video takes practice!”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am diving into the importance of showing up on live video for your audience and why you shouldn’t let the fear of messing up stop you!   Someone needs to hear what you have to say today. Don’t prevent yourself from showing up just because you are scared.    No matter how good you get at live videos, you will always have some that turn out to be straight garbage. There will be times that you forget what you’re going to say, background situations happen, kids are crying, people are knocking on your door. Life is chaotic, but that’s what is beautiful about live video.   Get up and go live anyway! You have my full f*cking support, I could care less if you get up on a live video and bomb it, there are so many people who don’t even have balls to go live. “If you’re going to be a coach who has bad drama with another coach, and you're going to put them on blast, have the decency to tag that coach in your social media post. Why? They deserve the respect to defend themselves and their brand.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am dropping the truth on why it’s so important we maintain integrity in our coaching business. If you’re a coach and you’re going to passive-aggressively talk sh*t about another coach, have the integrity to at least tag them in that post.    This drama I’m seeing of coaches ripping other coaches down, I’m not going to get wrapped up in that. It’s ridiculous, we’re grown a** women, let’s act like it.    When you call another coach out and talk sh*t, you are damaging their reputation and don’t realize it. One woman will see that post and assume she can’t trust a single coach. This could be a woman who desperately needs help and wants to change her life, but she will assume all coaches are corrupt. That one woman is now alone and doesn’t get the help she needs, you cause that.   If you’re going through some drama or negativity with a coach, reach out to them and speak to them first. Maintain your integrity by giving them that respect. This whole passive-aggressive bullsh*t, it’s not helping anybody, it’s doing more harm than good.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “If a woman wants to get up and speak her truth, and this feels authentic to her, she should be allowed to do that without any judgment from anybody! She should be allowed to get out there and just BE her.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, I am bringing the heat on why you should ALWAYS remain true to yourself, no matter your gender, what others may think of you, be your authentic self!   I am so sick and tired of women getting sh*t on for showing up as their true authentic selves. My entire life, I have been told to act a certain way. I have been told because I am a woman, I cannot do things. I have been told because I am a woman, I should not burp out loud. I shouldn't be loud. I shouldn't curse.    When people dictate how we can show up because of what’s between our legs, it’s total bullsh*t. That’s why so many online coaches come into this space and they are terrified of authenticity. They are terrified of how they’re going to be judged because of how they look, act, and speak. Do we do that to men? No, men can show up any way shape or form, and that’s okay but we should be given that same permission.   The most powerful thing in the entire world is when YOU find your true authentic self. Once you find that, never let her go. That is why we exist and we are on this planet, to find that person and be her always. No matter what.   If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “So many people have Facebook Groups with thousands of members, but can’t convert. Why? They're only showing up to SELL. People don’t like to be SOLD to 24/7. If you are growing your business organically but think you can do it without a central hub for people - you're crazy!”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all organic business growth, and how Facebook Groups can help take your business to the NEXT level.   I stepped into the world of coaching and I decided I was going to build my business organically. In 2018 I had everything my coaches told me I needed - a website and a sales funnel.    Yet... I had no f*cking sales. I wasn’t showing up physically in my business, I thought sales would miraculously happen if I had an attractive website. I decided in 2019 to build my business 100% organically - no websites, no sales funnels, no ads. Guess what? I had MASSIVE success.   It doesn’t matter if you have 10,000 or 30,000 Facebook Group members - you just need a solid 50 members who love and adore you. For that to happen, stop being a d*ck and give them free value! When you give people free value, they will turn around and buy. If you are not utilizing your Facebook Group, take this as a warning. Start implementing a closed Facebook Group as part of your business strategy today.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “So many new coaches come to the online space and they are full-on terrified of triggering people. They will say things like, ‘But what if someone gets upset? Like, what if I trigger someone? What if someone gets angry at something I post?’ GIRL! Your whole motherf*cking job is to trigger.”    This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all about the difference between good and bad triggers. Plus, why triggering will grow your reach and audience.   There will be people out there who cannot stand you. There will be people out there who will unfollow you and block you. There will be people out there who talk sh*t about you. There will always be people out there saying something. There is no way around it, even if you get into the online space and you try to please everybody. It's f*cking exhausting because no matter how hard you try, someone's going to get triggered.   And that's OK.   It is completely OK to trigger people. It is literally why you're here. There is good triggering and there is bad triggering.    Triggering is the most powerful tool that you have as a coach because if you're not triggering, you're not doing anything. You're just floating by. No one just wants to float, right? If you are not saying something that triggers one person to block you, what are you saying? What you're saying is shallow.   What I’ve realized is that triggering helps others discover something about themselves and eventually realize it had nothing to do with you. Remember, it’s never about you when people get triggered. But triggering WILL grow your impact and business.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “When everyone asks me, ‘What was the secret sauce? How did you build a multi-six-figure business in 11 months? I say to them, ‘I found my true authentic self. I let that little girl inside of me live. I allowed her to stand on the stage that she deserved to be on and show every single motherf*cking human being who jumped on a live video or who wrote and commented on a post, who she was. And I was unapologetic about it, as you should be.’”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all about being authentic in your business and how owning your authenticity will get you the results you want so badly.   Back in 2018, I showed up as every other f*cking human being on this planet. I pretty much acted like Jen Casey's wanna-be little sister and tried to emulate her in every single thing I did. And you know what happened? Every time I launched something, it completely failed. Every time I showed up in an online video, I would dread it. Every post I wrote flopped. Nothing f*cking worked. And when I got f*cking real with myself about what was wrong, I realized my failures had nothing to do with strategy and everything to do with not showing up as my authentic self.    So in 2019, I showed up as authentic as f*ck.   I showed up on live video with no makeup on and in my pajamas. I swore like a sailor. I spoke my truth every single day. And all of a sudden, my business f*cking exploded.   And so if you are listening right now and you can’t figure out why the f*ck your business isn’t making a ton of money when you’re doing everything “right”...look at how you’re showing up. Have you found, discovered and released the true authentic you into this world? Because if you haven’t, that’s your problem.   And if you change that and let your inner little girl shine...imagine the magic you could create. And know that you have every f*cking ability to make that magic happen. My story is not an underdog story. It's not a Cinderella story. It's a story of a woman who stopped giving a flying f*ck what everyone else thought and unleashed that little girl inside of her. And the really beautiful thing about that is that this story can also be about every single one of you.    All it takes is for you to decide: do you want to take the easy route and show up as the next Tony Robbins or Rachel Hollis? Or do you want to show up as the unique, badass motherf*cker you are? If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “I am so excited to be here to talk to you guys about my favorite subject of all time: fear. And people think I'm weird because I have such a loving relationship with fear. A lot of people are like, ‘You are absolutely crazy. Why would you love fear? It's scary. It's terrifying. It makes me feel like I'm going to throw up all the time. I absolutely hate it. Why in God's name would you ever love fear?’ But I have to love fear. Fear is what got me here today.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all about my relationship with fear and how I went from letting it control my life to making it my best friend (and even my b*tch…)   Back in December of 2018, I hit my rock f*cking bottom financially. I’d wake up in a complete panic, terrified of getting that stupid notification from Bank of America that “your account is below twenty five dollars.” And every morning, there it would be. And every morning of that December, I’d cry. But even through December was the hardest month of my entire f*cking life, it was also the most freeing. Why? I realized that I was letting fear take over my life. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of not being worthy for people to pay for that I have to offer. Fear of continuing to play small. Fear of being my authentic self. I literally manifested being broke because I was so scared of it already happening.   Once I realized that, I looked at fear and said, “It's time we switched roles. It's time I took my power back.”    And if you’re feeling trapped by fear, it's time you took your power back as well. Because fear can either be the thing that completely crumbles your life and business or it can be the thing that makes it f*cking shine. So every time you get a nervous feeling in your stomach, I want you to ask yourself, “How do you know those butterflies are a sign of not excitement? How do you know they’re not a sign of joy? How do you know they’re not your intuition telling you something really big is on the other side of this, as long as you push through the fear?”   In less than a year, I've been able to make four hundred and ninety one thousand dollars in sales in my business. And I wouldn’t have without making fear my best friend.   So I want to ask you: are ready to make fear your b*tch? Because fear can be the most amazing energy. It can be full of positivity, love, light and abundance. But only if you choose to make it that way. If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! “And so I sat here and kept saying, ‘What do I want next year to look like for me?’ And I said,  I want to leave a f*cking legacy. Sales don't matter. Money doesn't matter. I want to be the coach that spans generations. I want to be the coach that someone who is in their early 20s and someone who is in their late 70s can relate to. I want to be the coach that literally the day I leave this Earth, people stop and say, ‘Gosh, she was a good f*cking person. She helped transform lives. She helped people around the world.’ That's what I want.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all about leaving a legacy through your business.    Last December, I was kind of in a funk. And I'm not going to lie to you. It made me panic. It made me worry. It made me spin into a big puddle of self-doubt and I found myself laying in my bed, wondering, “What do I want 20/20 to look like in my business? What do I want to become in 2020?”   And then it hit me: I wanted to build a legacy...but my actions were NOT reflecting that goal. I know firsthand how easy it is to get wrapped up in the money and in the sales as a coach. I hate to admit this out loud, but in 2019, I was on the verge of burnout and destroying my business, and I didn't even realize it because I was so focused on hitting my next sales goal.    And for what?   Nothing, really. Because, yes, we all want to be wealthy - including me. But I want people to be talking about me for years because of the work I did, NOT because of the amount of money I made.    And if you can relate to these feelings and you’re thinking about what you want out of next year, I want you to challenge yourself with the hard questions. I want you to get real with yourself and ask:  Do I want this to be a year where I'm focusing on sales and I'm focusing on money? (Because it can be that year where you literally plot out to the dollar what you make every single month!) Or do I want it to be the year where I focus on creating a legacy?  And if so, ask yourself: How do I create a brand?  How do I become the person that everyone talks about?  What things do I need to put out so that every single human being who comes into contact with me says, “Holy shit, she has changed my life forever!”?   I know what kind of year I want this next one to be. “I lost a client this morning and I knew she wasn't the right client. I knew it deep down in my f*cking soul. But my ego drove me because, of course, I want sales and of course, I want money. So I accepted her into something, and then she decided to leave and I knew it was going to happen. And I lost her this morning and we both ended on really good terms. I wish her nothing but the best of success, as I'm sure she does me as well. But I should have never allowed it to get that far.”   This week on the Fierce as F*ck Podcast, we’re talking all about following your intuition and learning from the times you don’t.    Recently, instead of listening to my gut saying this client wasn’t the right fit for me, I listened to the ego that told me, “There's only one of her. You'll be able to handle it. You don’t want to lose the money, right? You don’t want to lose clients!” So I accepted this client into a program, and then she decided to leave - just like I knew would happen. But it’s powerful to admit that I f*cked up and I could’ve been a better leader or a better role model or just plain better.    That’s why I want all coaches to know this: if you don’t listen to your gut and something goes wrong, YOU have got to be the one who takes responsibility. Just like you need to LET GO of all of the clients that don't feel good to you because every time you release something that does not serve you, you call in something so much bigger and better that does.   And at the end of this year - or even at the end of each month - I strongly encourage you to not just focus on what you want to do next, but to also ask yourself hard questions like:  Where did I f*ck up this last month or year? What do I not want to do next year? Where do I not want to repeat these same mistakes?    Because if you do the inner work and you learn to choose intuition over ego, your life can change. And if you go through reflection and you own what you did right and what you did wrong, there's so much power in that. I like the podcast overall, except for the amount of cursing, which says a lot because I curse on the regular. I guess I'm the type that enjoys a strategically placed f-bomb because it adds emphasis and emotional context. A well placed curse word can let your audience know that what you're about to say is worthy of their attention. On the contrary, saying it every couple of words takes away from the effectiveness of the overall messaging. Maybe it's just me, but it seems the language is forced, a means to grab attention, to effectively match the name of the podcast. But is this show about a strong woman helping other strong women succeed or is it about cursing? What message does the host want her listeners to focus on? I personally think the amount is cursing is a bridge too far, that the host has an awesome leadership type spirit, and I would like to hear more of that shine through. Again, I don't mind cursing and use it myself. I just think the amount being used is holding back the a
