55. Resting In What Is

Hey there! This week's theme is: Resting In What Is Where does your mind spend the majority of it's time? In today's practice, I'll lead us through a meditation that helps us observe where our minds are in this moment, noticing our racing thoughts, then seeing if we can redirect it to what is present in the now...our breath, our body. At the end, I offer some journal prompts to help you reflect even more for yourself. I'd highly recommend grabbing a pen and paper to jot down the questions. Taylor Pangman is a Life & Career Coach for Mothers. Hey there! I'm going to do things a bit differently moving forward. Consider this space my virtual yoga class, only instead of yoga postures, we're going to be exploring meditation, breathwork, journaling prompts, and whatever else mindfulness and somatic practices I can share with you in this virtual space that helps us connect with ourselves a little more. Each week I'll be picking a theme that I'll spend some time reflecting on myself before sharing it with you...this week's theme is: Committing to Stillness. In a culture where we are praised for moving, thinking, talking, and doing things faster and faster, I'm challenging myself...and you...to explore what it would be like to commit to stillness instead. What does Committing to Stillness look like for you? I'll share my thoughts about what it means to me in this episode, then I'd highly recommend grabbing a pen and paper and journaling a bit about what it means to you.
