In episode 44 we have Kiara Botha the co-founder of Marlow. Marlow is a safe space that facilitates connections and conversations around menstrual and sexual wellness, as well as a one-stop-shop for elevated, refreshing, and shame-free products and education- and soon they will be launching their very own product to combat an issue that many menstruators and tampon users face.  In this episode, we talk about everything from how scary it is starting a business straight out of university, to the struggles of being taken seriously as a young woman, dealing with mental health issues to pursuing goals, how to even make money as an entrepreneur, and Kiara's tips for others to follow in a similar path. We also dive into Marlow's blog content talking about blood stain removal, and tampon myths such as toxic shock syndrome, and menstrual product accessibility, along with what we are taught in sex-ed and how it doesn't line up with the experiences that we have had.  We love Marlow and the space that they have created for accessible, relatable, and approachable information. Yup, I think we have it, our favourite episode yet. In episode 43 we have an amazing chat with registered dietitian Victoria Myers who is the owner of Nourishing Minds Nutrition. In this conversation, we talk about everything from the obsession of eating healthy and the signs that it may be turning into disordered eating - orthorexia, what the signs are of disordered eating, social media trends that may actually be more negative than positive, what thin privilege is, and a whole lot on digestive issues and IBS and how they may not be related to the food you are eating at all. Victoria also explains what to do on days that you are having a bad body day which is something I think everyone needs to hear. This episode is jam-packed with so many good points, tips, and information we couldn't be more grateful to have Victoria on the Sassy Pod!
