Milk was the miracle food for America. The USA was milk making machine. We made so much milk and who would drink this milk--it was even distributed free as cheese to those on welfare. What happened? Where did it all go wrong? Why does everyone you know in the Millenial and GenZ-one if four-lactose intolerant? Why do people prefer alternative beverages like almond milk, coconut milk, soymilk, or oatmilk? How did an entire generation become sensitive to lactose? Makes you wonder. Here's food for thought from an Ayurvedic Perspective. (Note--this podcast is neither an endorsement nor a critique--it is simply a way-a new prospective-a Vedic and spiritual prospective into this idea of how and why Milk became eew for an entire generation of American Kids) Monica B Groover (manjulali) is the author of Ayurveda and the Feminine and, ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO AYURVEDA --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/narayana-ayurveda/support
Water is a conduit. It can be empowered the power of air, water, fire, mantra- intention. We can leave a covered glass jar of water in and it becomes agneya--filled with heat of water and will be good to warm us and for digestion. Water can be left out in a covered glass jar in the moonlight-and it will become cooling for the body and will calm the mind. In fact, this is how we make Sun Tea or moon tea. Physically water not only nourishes us but cleanses us -good hygiene but also energertically. Urine, sweat and lymphatic fluid--are a cleansing action of water. In women, the menstrual blood is cleansing not just the unfertilized cell, and lining but all the stress we have accumulated over the month--that is sticking to our body and tissues--it is all being let out--by blood-which is a manifestation of water and fire. Each body of water has a spirit guide--when we contaminate the ocean, river or water, we overfish-there are karmic consequences for the whole society. This podcast generally dives into all that and more..... --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/narayana-ayurveda/support

The timekeepers of timeline is a popular theme in television series meant to keep us entertained. You must have heard the phrase WHEEL OF TIME. It is a popular TV series and an excellent series of books as well. Today we talk about the Vedic wheel of time. In science, we perceive time to move in a linear direction, however, according to Vedic literature-time moves in a circular direction. This means it returns to the beginning. Time is a chakra (wheel). We call it the kāla (long A as in tart, smart) or kāla cakra. In this interesting podcast, we talk with Pandit Atul our resident Vedic philosopher about the qualities of time, the four yugas, time being a destroyer and creator, and instances from the Bhagavad Gita and pop culture. Pandit Atul is a well-known vedic astrologer and Vedic philosopher and teacher of Sanskrit and vedic arts. "What is a nāḍi" (long A, and hard D sound) is an educational podcast and you will hear the part of a live session where Monica Groover (Ayurveda Practitioner) was teaching the art of nāḍi assessment using the Nārāyaṇa system of nāḍi that she learned and assimilated from her teachers, research and her Guru. A nāḍi is an energetic channel or network of channels in your many bodies that vibrates at a frequency that can be felt by some spiritual, yogic, and Ayurveda practitioners. We have a vast energetic network of nāḍis in our astral body. Ayurveda Practitioners check a person's nadi in order to find out the imbalance. As an Ayurveda practitioner myself, I may check their nadi. Nadi tells me everything. What is this Nadi? It is an energetic channel--a network within our body- a system that reverberates in all our bodies. What is hell (Naraka)

What is hell (Naraka)

2023-06-0121:25

Did you know that hell also has a judicial branch and legislative branch running for the beings who broke the rules of the universe? Technically it's not hell--its a system of realms with 28 hellish planets. When such persons die, they are taken by the police/constable of the chief court system that has authority over our planet Earth. The soul is taken to the court in the hellish realm/planet where the defense and criminal lawyer team is presided over by Citragupta and his team of millions. The justice-dharmaraj Yamaraja is the head of the court system and his staff/children are legislators and keep records. There are scary beings-sometimes hired from asuras- to do the dirty work of giving punishments in these hellish planets/realms --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/narayana-ayurveda/support
