However, when her baby daughter became seriously ill with Rett Syndrome, she faced a crossroad in her life. Stress, worry and overwhelm threatened her own health and forced Michelle to look within. Wu Tao was the answer she found to her problems. She developed Wu Tao, a dance practice based on Chinese Medicine, which aims to balance Life Force energy in the body and restore physical balance, emotional equilibrium and peace of mind. Michelle's daughter passed away in 2011, but her legacy lives on.
