In this episode, Rebecca talks to Troy Redfern, multi-instrumental slide guitarist, producer and band leader. Sadly, the interview was affected by technical issues – the video glitches in places, and the recording of her voice was distorted and had an echo which we could not eradicate. Producer Colin Speller has has created shortened versions of the questions and interjections, and it is his voice you will hear instead of Rebecca's. We hope this doesn't spoil your enjoyment of Troy's contribution. Hopefully normal service will be resumed next week! This series of Downes Your Way is in association with Blues In Britain Magazine.Original Music is These Days written by Steve Birkett and Rebecca Downes. For more information on Rebecca, Blues in Britain or Troy Redfern:https://www.rebeccadownes.com/https://www.bluesinbritain.org/https://troyredfern.com/Rebecca and her full band will be performing live at the 100 Club in London on Tuesday 28 October 2025 when she will be launching her new album 'A Storm Is Coming.'
