Harvard Neurosurgeon Eben Alexander joins us to share his incredible near-death experience and what it taught him about life. Eben is the author of several incredible books, including the bestselling Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife, which he joins us to talk about. In 2008, he was put into a medically induced coma after falling gravely ill with acute bacterial meningoencephalitis, which has a 90% mortality rate. How can you cultivate resilience in the face of loss? That's the topic of today's conversation, and we're joined by TED speaker and author of Resilient Grieving, Dr Lucy Hone. An award-winning 'pracademic' and Director of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, Lucy knows the magnitude of grief well.
