Send us a text We sang a song and they gifted us citizenship. It really is that easy. We have a new country to add to the list of those we call home ("officially") which is a bit of a big deal I suppose. Otherwise, it was great to see my old mate, Mitch and his growing family, spend some time in Port Stephens and listen to Taylor Swift's new album with a flock of Pelicans. Support the show

Send us a text Aussie summer is ending. The clocks have changed and so the early evening darkness is rolling in. Meanwhile I am interviewing like a madman, trying to keep my car alive and having my mouth renovated by my forgetful dentist. It's all fun and games over here... Support the show

Send us a text Twas the week before Christmas and, whilst no mice were stirring, there was an interesting piece of information that I found nestled underneath my tree. This episode sees me greedily unwrapping this piece of information, processing it and trying to understand what it means moving forward. If any of what I discuss is relatable please get in touch 🫶🏻 Support the show
Send us a text It's the time of year when I start to look back on the past 12 months to understand what I have enjoyed, despised and learned. As part of this I have noticed that I have been picking up new hobbies left and right and, whilst I usually drop them just as quickly, I was curious to dig into why I may be starting to try these things. Quasi-life crisis? perhaps. Support the show
Send us a text *update - apologies for the crappy audio - new microphone required 🥲 June, August, September, October, November 2024 all included. Quite a bit to cover so bear with me 🙏 Enjoy the longest Otto Talks in history! Support the show

Send us a text As the wedding inches closer and closer I had to take drastic action to find appropriate clothing. Cue me arranging a personal styling session at a Sydney department store. This is my story... In other news, a little nod to introverted development practices, I was praised about the quality of a spreadsheet I made (what is my life..) and Travis Kelce's girlfriend is approaching Sydney at alarming speed... Send us a text January recap and and update on Wed Shred progress. Have time with a personal shopper next week to help me find appropriate clothing for June. Needless to say I am very excited about that.... Down 1.7kg since the start of the year so moving in the right direction. If I can get sub 80 that will be a huge result (would be the first time in ~12 years!) Also, viva Rasmus Højlund. What a man. Support the show
Send us a text Back again with another wee update! This week's chatter is about some interesting revelations from the Otto Talks download data, preparations for 'Wed Shred' and a tip-of-the-cap to a late contender for my favourite TV show of the year. Leave a review, let me know your 'Wed Shred' advice, and if you have any intel on how to keep German listeners interested, I am all ears! Support the show
Send us a text *note* - apologies for the leafblower in the background at the halfway point. A unique audio experience I am sure. After an 18 month (!) hiatus, I am back with a brief update. The plan is to try and get these going again semi-regularly in the run up to the wedding next year to keep my enormous listener base updated with general goings-on as well as to get cracking with shifting some lumber ahead of the big day. You may have also noticed that I have started pumping out ...
Send us a text Been a wee while since I dusted off the USB microphone (and pop filter for anyone wanting a peek behind the kimono..) and talked about nothing in particular so plenty to discuss. A little bit of Byron in December, Melbourne for the Australian Open and some exciting events to look forward to in June and July (oh and yet another rubbish TV show gets a nod along the way). As ever, please like/subscribe and get in touch if there is anything you want to me to chat about or if you ...
