Born just two days apart from Linda in the same hospital, Brian and Linda were lifelong companions, eventually marrying in their early twenties. Before founding L’BRI, Brian worked in a foundry while supporting Linda’s early success in direct sales and learning the business behind the scenes. A pivotal moment in their journey came when Brian suffered serious burns from a molten metal accident. Conventional medical treatments were slow to heal his skin. Linda applied pure aloe vera gel topically, and his recovery improved markedly. That experience inspired the Kaminski’s to center their new company around aloe’s regenerative and soothing properties. Under Brian’s leadership on the financial and operations side, L’BRI has remained a privately held, debt-free business emphasizing transparency, consultant support, and product purity. The company uses a formulation approach called “Aloe-First,” where aloe vera is the predominant active base instead of water — a differentiator the Kaminski’s continue to champion. Over nearly three decades, Brian has helped steer L’BRI’s growth, maintain fiscal discipline, and ensure the business remains focused on empowering consultants and delivering trusted skincare. Feeling safer financially was the first thing and Bryan joined direct sales with Young Living essential oils to take better care of himself and begin growing a business alongside his full time animal care career. His next moves (dance moves) would prove to be the spark he needed for himself. Dancing each morning in his kitchen to start his day lit a fire back in Bryan and the world began to follow with viral videos, news interviews and winning the Kelly Rippa & Ryan Seacrest dance contest in 2021.Seven years after becoming widowed, Bryan has built a social media following over 2 million with 1.2 million on Facebook alone. Bryan is now married to his husband Devin, his Young Living business has become his full time passion and he has published a book on growing through grief called "The Widowed Dancer" showing us all we can dance through the fire and grow through grief. Social media can be an invaluable tool for business growth—but only when used with the right intention. In this special Power Episode of the Direct Selling Accelerator Podcast, I reflect on a pivotal moment sparked by a conversation with a confident network marketing leader. We’ll deep dive into the critical difference between “vanity metrics” and actionable strategy. The eye-opening exchange I had inspired this vulnerable and transparent look into how content that looks impressive on the surface can actually distract us from our real goals. I’ve learned this lesson the hard way myself too, by creating content that either hasn’t had the impact I wanted, or has even generated some backlash. I want to share this lesson with you so you don’t have to learn it the hard way. So I invite you to pause, reflect, and refocus your efforts on what truly matters: content that drives impact, creates connections, and moves the needle in your business. What if the only thing standing between you and consistent results in your business was a system—a real, repeatable strategy that guarantees progress regardless of your background or industry? I’m thrilled to introduce someone who’s not only lived the highs of professional sport but has translated that same discipline into a business methodology that’s changing lives—Dre Baldwin. Dre is the founder of Work On Your Game, a platform built to teach business owners and entrepreneurs how to harness discipline, mental toughness, confidence, and personal initiative. After a nine-year career as a professional basketball player, Dre pivoted into entrepreneurship, becoming a renowned speaker—having delivered four TED Talks—and the author of a staggering 41 books. His work is all about making success replicable through systems, not just motivation. In this episode, Dre breaks down how to apply a professional athlete’s mindset to business—where routine, structure, and focus aren’t just helpful but essential. Whether you’re just starting or scaling, the ideas Dre shares are powerful, actionable, and immediately relevant. You’ll also hear how you can get a free copy of his book, so make sure to listen all the way through.
