Description

Thank you for being here. This show is to offer you support in transforming habits that belong to older versions of yourself that you are ready to let go of.

My personal journey with acknowledging that I was indeed on a healing path was when I chose to honestly look at my alcohol use, which was a daily occurrence for years and years. It was my go-to to feel good but ultimately I saw that if it continued to go unchecked, I was going to miss out on the larger game of life including rewarding relationships with loved ones, my greatest expression of health and my connection with God or Source Energy.

This podcast, formerly The Mindful Drinking Movement, is a testament to the journey that I have been on, navigating my obsession with alcohol use. I share how I healed my relationship with substance and how I am happy to help you do the same.

Radical Healing has evolved into a space where I collaborate in conversations with other healers, therapists, medicine people, and light workers from around the world to bring you as many resources as possible to support you on your spiritual journey being a human being, with the intention of helping you reconnect with your wholeness.

As a Certified Hypnotherapist and Holistic Health Coach, I work with people to unravel and reframe their addictive and obsessive behaviors by helping them heal their subconscious limiting beliefs about what is truly possible for them as they leave their outdated habits behind - to transform their attachments to things outside of themselves so that they can find a deeper peace and strength within.

Healing isn’t something we force — it’s something we support. The skin is not just a surface; it’s a living, responsive organ deeply connected to the nervous system, emotions, and overall health. When we slow down, reduce chemical interference, and choose approaches that respect the body’s intelligence, we create space for real healing to happen. My guest today is Jodi Scott and it is her desire to invite people back into greater presence with their bodies , where mind, skin, and nervous system work together, and whole health becomes something we experience daily, not something we chase.Join our conversation where we discuss skin care as something more than self-care. It is an opportunity to provide emotional regulation and nervous system support as well. Learn why you should care about the forever chemicals (those that your body cannot metabolize and stay in your cells and tissues) that are lurking in your body products and not to live in fear about them but to feel empowered in your ability to choose powerfully about what enters your body via the skin.Green Goo products are essentially 'skin food' and nervous system support and you can find them (they ship internationally!) athttps://www.greengoo.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoqBsF5g_eEgjrz2jQdoHFhN0YtBlD6DI7Mn5_eHi39c8bRR00cFUse the code Vida15 for 15% off :)Find Jodi and Green Goo on the socials for holistic skin care education and resourcesFollow Jodi Scott on LinkedInThoughtful insights on building a values-driven wellness brand, leadership, and the intersection of healing, business, and resilience.https://www.linkedin.com/in/jodiscottFollow Green Goo on InstagramDaily plant-powered healing, behind-the-scenes founder moments, and practical natural wellness tips.https://www.instagram.com/greengooFollow Green Goo on FacebookCommunity stories, educational content, and updates on plant-based first aid and herbal wellness.https://www.facebook.com/greengooAnd you can find Jessica and The Roots of Health for Hypnosis and Holistic Health Coaching athttps://www.therootsofhealthcoaching.com/Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mindful-drinking-for-women/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Every woman has a relationship with anger — even if it doesn’t always look the same. Some women learned early on that anger was unsafe, unacceptable, or “too much.” They learned to swallow it, soften it, or turn it inward. Over time, that unexpressed anger can show up as anxiety, exhaustion, guilt, people-pleasing, or a quiet disconnection from one’s own truth.Other women feel anger all the time. It lives close to the surface — sharp, simmering, or heavy. It can feel exhausting to carry, and confusing to know what to do with it. The anger is justified, but it never seems to fully move through. If you feel that there are qualities in your life where you feel small, unheard, or fearful of being too visible, connecting with your sacred feminine rage may be medicinal and healing for you.Join me and my guest, EFT Tapping expert Amy Vinzce as well explore the disservice that women in particular experience in a world that is fearful of feminine rage and power. The Wisdom of Feminine Rage is a live, online group tapping series for women. In this 3-part series, we use EFT tapping to create a safe, grounded space to work with anger as an intelligent emotional response, rather than something to suppress or be overwhelmed by.Learn more or secure your spot here (get $10 off by using the code RadicalHealing)https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-wisdom-of-feminine-rage-honor-express-and-release-built-up-anger-tickets-1981657370540?aff=oddtdtcreatorLearn more about Tapping and working with Amyhttps://soarwithtapping.com/Learn more about The Radical Healing project and The Roots of Health with Jessica Betancourthttps://www.therootsofhealthcoaching.com/Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mindful-drinking-for-women/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Most hesitation around hypnosis isn’t about hypnosis itself—it’s about trust, safety, and autonomy. When those are addressed clearly and respectfully, people tend to relax and decide for themselves whether it’s a fit. Most hesitation around microdosing isn’t about curiosity—it’s about uncertainty. The science is incomplete, the legal landscape is uneven, and responses vary widely between individuals. For many people, not knowing is the deciding factor. The questions that we receive from our respective communities around hypnosis and microdosing come down to themes around:Safety (mental, physical, legal)Lack of trustworthy, long-term dataFear of unintended psychological changeMoral or identity-based uncertainty (“Is this who I want to be?”)So ahead of our proprietary program Hypnodosing TM 2026, we wanted to address these concerns and questions to bring you the most up to date information as well as our first hand accounts. You can learn more about Hypnodosing TM 2026 or sign up for our Dry January program at:https://www.microdosetogether.com/product-page/hypnodosing-dry-january-program?utm_campaign=9097eb66-65ed-4e5a-b042-7ed32900e738&utm_source=so&utm_medium=mailhttps://www.microdosetogether.com/or at The Roots of Health Coaching https://www.therootsofhealthcoaching.com/With Love,Jessica and SaraSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mindful-drinking-for-women/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Do you have inexplicable aches, pains, weird sensations in your body that don't make logical sense? Or maybe you have 'normal' test results and labs and no medical professional can find anything 'wrong' with you but you deeply sense that something is off? You're uncomfortable, frustrated, unsure what do do after you have tried countless things...This was me too. And I am so grateful to have had Rachel on my show for two reasons:1) She was able to help me locate a trapped emotion of grief and distress that felt that it had lodged in my heart space at the intersection of my ribs, originating over 20 years ago and had been reactivated by an inciting incident.2) The situation had to do with my mom, an event that I believed I had put behind me but my body was telling a different story. Through working to release this trapped emotion, I was able to connect more deeply with my mom who means a great deal to me but we have some reconnection and healing work to do and now we get to move in a more honest direction together. The physical ache in my heart has not returned since I did this live session with Rachel. I am so humbled and sincerely appreciative of this entire experience. If you resonate with 'ghost pains', inexplicable discomforts, illness, or conditions, I hope that you will explore having a session with Rachel. She helped my immensely. Its so interesting the insights that we can receive and the weight of the past that can be relieved when the body gets to speak. Thank you for being here. And a big thank you to Rachel Reimer. And to my mommy. Rachel Reimer believes that the body can develop physical symptoms (acutely or chronically) when unresolved emotional stress is present. Instead of rationalizing that the emotional stressor “isn’t so bad”, Rachel has found that talking through the stress can sometimes help the body feel/function better. During a session, Rachel’s goal is to understand your physical concern thoroughly, help identify what specific emotional stress she thinks could be related to the physical concern (if any) and will then help you work through the unresolved emotional stress; with the hope that the physical body starts to function and feel better.*If at any point you feel stuck or don’t know how to articulate what you may be feeling during a session, Rachel is happy to use her intuition to help identify what emotional stress she suspects is impacting the body. (Rachel best resonates with the Catholic faith and any intuitive information that comes forward is from a conversation with God. She does not expect her clients to follow the Catholic faith and will meet each individual where they are at in their faith.)About Rachel:https://www.myraeofhope.com/aboutBook a Session:https://www.myraeofhope.com/book-a-phone-sessionJoin Rachel's Email List for UpdatesSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mindful-drinking-for-women/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
What are you currently doing habitually and how it this making you FEEL, vs WHO could you become if your habits were really in service to your greater goals in life? What kind of person would you need to be to have this result?  What new stories would you tell your self?Think about ways of being that you have pieces of but are not fully aligned with because of this other habit.  Yoga but you drink.Take 10,000 steps but you eat the whole thing of ice cream.Wake up to meditate but you stay up really late watching TV.  Something has got to give.  Today we are going to do a little experiment in releasing OLDER ways of being that no longer feel aligned with who you wish to BECOME, how you can gracefully accept and love older versions of yourself, and how letting go of the past frees you up to create something NEW! This is the exact re-patterning sequence that I take my clients through.  So that you can change identity structure in a very empowering way and let that identity do the heavy lifting for you so that you don’t have to force yourself to follow through or punish yourself over not having changed this habit yet.  Ready for a deeper, guided, and highly personalized habit change program that will elevate your life by way of creating more meaningful and purposeful habit patterns?I invite you to book a sample session with me! Let's get into your story and your journey about how and why your habits developed as they did and how you can effectively change them in a sustainable, fun and pleasurable way! https://calendly.com/blessed-vida/onehourcoachingsessionSee you inside,Jess Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mindful-drinking-for-women/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
How you used to be doesn’t have to be who you are or who you are becoming. But if you feel disconnected or unmotivated, it may be that you are in a stage of transformation or identity shifting rather than going bananas, and infusing some structure and self-loving discipline into your day to day could really help you! Rules - we want to break them, rules are impositions from other people about what they want us to do and how they want us to behave. This isn't about having strict rules and regulations to whip you into any kind of shape: mental, emotional, spiritual nor physical.Somewhere along the way, structure and discipline got over-coupled and caught up with rules and something to rebel against.Structure is a masculine framework that holds and gives shape to the more feminine qualities of creativity, daydreaming and visualization.  Tangibly what this may look like, Is having actionable routines or rituals that serve your higher goals.Or how I like to refer to actionable routines is RITUALS.  Rituals really ground us and hold us together.  If you feel disoriented in some in-between-state in your life, this episode if for you!! Let's take a little journey into how it can benefit you to reframe words like structure and discipline in your life.Get the complimentary free guide for this session. "I knew that I didn’t want a treatment program or medication because that was not the severity of addiction that I was personally experiencing. I knew that I would not be able to have success solely using a tracking app because I felt that that would make me feel more neurotic, although those tools certainly offer some utility and support for awareness.  I didn’t want to demonize alcohol or have to be away from people who were drinking socially or to have to avoid environments or establishments that featured alcohol if I wanted to be there for other reasons.  I didn’t want to say ‘Ok now I am a sober person’, because in my vision of this version of myself I would still be able to visit a vineyard or try an artisanal beer made by a friend or drink champagne at a wedding. I just didn’t want to drink everyday and I didn’t want to feel this compulsion of necessity that wine was like my blankie or my best friend."This episode is a retrospective look on how I successfully re-created my relationship with alcohol on my own terms and the 8 healing methods that I identify as having been immensely helpful in helping me do so. Healing is non-linear, not particularly pretty, frustrating at times, and can feel like its 'not working'. If this is happening to you please remember that it is not ALL of you that feels this way. The part of you that is attached to the habit or behavior that you want to change is in need of compassion and understanding.
