In episode 121 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield prepare for Mother’s Day in the U.S. by exploring the family synastry of Tina Knowles, Beyoncé, and Blue Ivy Carter.   First we work through Tina’s chart and see an expressive and cat-like Leo Rising. This Matriarch has a strong stellium in Capricorn (including her Sun) in her sixth house. It’s no surprise she made part of her living through the maintenance of manes (owning a successful hair salon). All of this energy in the sixth points to efficiency, and success, but through much effort (thanks Capricorn).  We also see a lethal Saturn/Mars conjunction in Scorpio, telling us she has weathered difficult experiences that have transformed her into a "tough as nails" woman.   Next, we read Beyoncé’s chart with her newly verified birth time and agree that her fearless Aries Rising makes so much sense for the “Survivor” singer.
