What if 2026 isn’t about trying harder—but about building better evidence? In this first episode of the year, we’re talking about how your brain looks for proof to support what it already believes—and how that’s been shaping your experience with weight loss, habits, and self-trust. You’ll learn why you’re not just observing your behavior… you’re reinforcing a story. And how, with intention, you can begin building evidence that actually serves you. In This Episode, You’ll Learn: Why your brain is always trying to prove you right How long-held beliefs shape what you notice about yourself A personal story that illustrates how changing a thought changes your experience How this shows up in weight loss and “falling off plan” A simple 3-step practice to help you build new evidence in 2026 Scripture Mentioned: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 The 3 Steps to Start Building Better Evidence: 1. Do a Thought Download Write your name or your weight at the top of a page. Write one sentence per line of everything your brain thinks about you and weight loss. 2. Notice Thoughts as Thoughts Practice saying: “Look at me thinking I can’t lose weight this year.” These are thoughts—not facts. 3. Build Evidence on Purpose Start noticing every time you: Stick to your plan Follow through Don’t quit after a mistake Stop making missteps mean something about who you are. A Word of Encouragement You don’t need a new personality. You don’t need more discipline. You need a new story—and the evidence to support it. As you think in your heart, so you become. 💬 Episode Summary When you think about weight loss, does peace come to mind? For most women, the process feels anything but peaceful — it feels like a fight. But what if peace isn’t something you find after the struggle… what if it’s something you can practice in the struggle? In this episode, LeAndra shares how to experience the peace of Jesus even in the hardest moments of your journey. You’ll learn how to stop resisting your emotions, invite God into the process, and finally find calm in the middle of your cravings, urges, and doubts. Because peace isn’t the reward for progress — it’s the pathway to it. 🌿 Key Takeaways Peace isn’t a feeling you wait for — it’s a Person you walk with. Thinking “This is so hard” creates resistance — not peace. Real peace begins when you feel the emotion, not fight it. The Holy Spirit meets you in the moment, not after you’ve “got it together.” You can do hard things with peace because God is your strength. 🕊️ The Peace Practice A simple 5-step framework for calm in the moment: 1️⃣ Notice the thought that’s creating tension. 2️⃣ Name the emotion you’re feeling. 3️⃣ Breathe and let the feeling move through you. 4️⃣ Invite God into the moment: “Lord, help me feel this with You.” 5️⃣ Choose a faith-filled thought to carry forward. Peace isn’t the absence of hard — it’s the presence of Jesus in it. ✝️ Scriptures Mentioned John 14:27 – “My peace I give you; not as the world gives.” Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” Philippians 4:6–7 – “The peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” 💭 Reflection Prompt Ask yourself: “What thought is stealing my peace right now?” Then pause, breathe, and invite Jesus into that very moment. 🙌 Call to Action If you’re ready to stop striving and start walking in peace, join the waitlist for The Christian Weight-Loss App — where faith meets food freedom and lasting transformation begins. ✨ Join the Waitlist
If you’ve ever wondered why change feels so slow—or why you keep ending up back in the same place with food or your habits—this episode will give you hope. We’re looking at the Israelites in the wilderness and realizing something profound: God didn’t change them overnight. He gave them Himself. And today, we have something they didn’t—the Holy Spirit living inside us, guiding, comforting, and transforming us from the inside out. In this episode, you’ll learn how to stop believing that “something’s gone wrong” and start seeing your wilderness as holy ground for transformation. 🌿 Key Takeaways Nothing’s gone wrong—you’re in process, not punishment. God doesn’t rush transformation; He walks with you through it. The Israelites had God’s presence around them—we have His Spirit within us. Hope is not about perfect progress; it’s trusting God’s presence in the wilderness. Jesus is our Redeemer, not another quick fix. ✝️ Scriptures Mentioned Deuteronomy 8:2 – God led His people to test what was in their hearts. John 6:35 – Jesus is the Bread of Life; He is our daily provision. Romans 15:13 – The God of hope fills us with joy and peace as we trust Him. 💭 Reflection Prompt Ask God:  “Where am I resisting the process because I think something’s gone wrong?”Then listen. Maybe He’s saying, “Nothing’s gone wrong—I’m right here with you.” If you’re ready to find hope and peace in your process—to walk with God instead of against yourself—join the waitlist for The Christian Weight-Loss App. This brand-new app will help you: Stop overeating for good Build confidence around food Strengthen your faith through daily truth and practical tools 👉 Join the Waitlist Be the first to know when it launches and get early-access bonuses!
In this episode, we talk about eating triggers — those moments, emotions, or people that make us want to eat when we’re not physically hungry. You’ll learn how to pause, name what’s happening, and watch your urges instead of reacting to them. You’ll walk away knowing how to: Recognize your unique eating triggers Feel urges in your body without fighting or fearing them “Become the watcher” — calm, curious, and in control Partner with the Holy Spirit for strength and awareness 1 Peter 5:8 (NIV) “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” How it applies: This verse reminds us to stay alert — not afraid, but aware. That’s what we do when we notice our eating triggers. We stay awake. We see what’s really happening instead of reacting automatically. Awareness is spiritual strength. 💬 Theme connection: “Becoming the watcher.” When we’re alert and of sober mind, we recognize urges for what they are — temporary thoughts, not commands we have to obey. Breakdown: Be alert: Stay aware and mindful of what’s happening in your body and thoughts. Be of sober mind: Keep a clear, calm, and disciplined mindset — not led by emotion or distraction — so you can recognize danger before it pulls you in.

In this episode, we’re talking about one of the most powerful truths in weight loss — why your motivation matters more than your willpower. So often we think we just need more discipline or a better plan… But the real reason we burn out is because our “why” is too heavy. If your motivation to lose weight comes from pressure — trying to fix yourself, prove yourself, or earn your worth — it will always feel exhausting. But when you shift from proving to partnering, from trying harder to trusting Jesus, everything changes. 💗 You can show up because you love yourself, not because you’re trying to fix yourself. 💗 You can stay consistent because you want to see how much God can grow you. 💗 You can walk in peace knowing Jesus doesn’t just change our bodies — He transforms our hearts. This is what real, lasting transformation looks like — light, joyful, and anchored in truth. 💬 In This Episode: Why heavy motivation leads to burnout How to identify when your “why” is rooted in pressure The difference between proving and partnering What happens when you shift from control to trust How Jesus changes not just your habits — but your heart ✨ Ready to Go Deeper? Because when your “why” is rooted in truth, staying committed stops feeling like punishment and starts feeling like worship. ✨ The Gift Exchange — my 8-week program to lay down body burdens and pick up God’s truth. When it comes to weight loss, we often think our biggest fear is failing — slipping up, gaining it back, or starting over again. But the truth? The greatest fear holding us back isn’t failure. It’s feeling bad. In this episode, we’ll look at what fear really is — a thought in your mind that creates a feeling in your body — and how you can stop letting it run your day. You’ll learn how to see fear as a signal, not a stop sign, and how to invite God’s truth into the moments that feel the hardest. This one’s deeply encouraging and practical. You’ll walk away knowing that fear doesn’t mean stop — it just means you care. And with God, you can keep going. 💗 Ready to go deeper? Join the Stay Committed Masterclass Series! If food feels confusing… If you start strong and then drift… Or if you’ve ever said, “I just need to get back on track,” — this episode will bring you so much peace. 💗 Today we’re talking about one simple thing that changes everything: having a protocol. Not a diet. Not a list of rules. Just a God-led plan that helps you stop guessing, stop negotiating, and start walking in peace. ✨ In this episode, you’ll learn: 🩷 What a protocol is — and what it’s not 🩷 How to create one in 4 simple steps (no overthinking) 🩷 Why self-discipline is actually a form of freedom 🩷 The faith-based truth that structure invites peace 💡 Why a Protocol Works ✅ It removes daily decision fatigue ✅ It builds trust with yourself ✅ It anchors you in consistency and peace Scripture reminder: “Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40 “God is not the author of confusion.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 When you bring order to your food decisions, you make space for peace — because God loves order, and order brings calm. 📖 Quick Start Guide 1️⃣ Pray for guidance. “God, show me what foods serve my body and which ones don’t.” 2️⃣ Write a short list of 10–15 foods that fuel your body and fit your lifestyle (simple, whole foods). “It’s your list — not someone else’s.” 3️⃣ Follow it for 24 hours. You’re not committing forever — just one peaceful, planned day. 4️⃣ Notice how you feel — mentally, physically, spiritually. This is how you begin to create peace with food. 💗 Encouragement “God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 Protocol isn’t about control — it’s about peace. It’s about walking in the self-discipline God already placed inside you. You don’t need to be perfect at it. You just need to begin — with love, truth, and a plan. 🎁 Resources to Help You Get Started 1️⃣ Download the free Daily Food Protocol Planner → A one-page printable that helps you decide once and eat with peace.  Get PROTOCOL PDF HERE 2️⃣ Join the Stay Committed Masterclass (Free) → Learn how to follow through on your plan with truth, not guilt.SIGN UP FOR MASTERCLASS HERE 3️⃣ Get on the waitlist for The Gift Exchange (8-week course) → Trade body burdens for truth and freedom — it all starts with structure and self-discipline.GET ON WAITLIST FOR GIFT EXCHANGE BIBLE STUDY CLASS HERE 💬 Key Quote “The protocol isn’t about food — it’s about freedom. When you partner with God in your planning, every meal becomes an act of worship, every decision becomes simpler, and every step brings peace.”
Do you struggle to stick to your food plan — or even make one in the first place? You’re not alone. Most women I coach fall into one of two camps: 1️⃣ They don’t plan at all. 2️⃣ They plan “perfect” foods, but never stick to it. In this episode of The Christian Weight-Loss Podcast, I’ll show you how to make meal planning that actually works. You’ll learn: The first step if you’re not currently planning meals. How to stop setting yourself up for failure with “perfect” plans. Why following through matters more than eating the “right” foods at the beginning. A bonus tip: if planning feels overwhelming, shorten your lens and just plan for today. 💡 The truth? The most important part isn’t what’s on your plan — it’s learning to keep your word to yourself. That’s where real freedom begins. ✨ Scripture reminder: Matthew 25:23 — “Well done, good and faithful servant.” God values faithfulness in the small things — including how we steward food. 🎧 Ready to start simple and actually stick with it? Have you ever felt hungry and panicked, thinking, “If I don’t eat now, I’ll lose control”? So many women live with the fear of hunger — believing it means something has gone wrong or that they’ll spiral into overeating. But here’s the truth: 👉 Hunger doesn’t last forever. 👉 God designed your body to “dine in” — to safely use stored fat between meals. 👉 Hunger is not an emergency. It’s simply a reminder that your body is working the way God created it. In this episode, I’ll help you lay down the burden of fear and pick up the truth of freedom: hunger doesn’t have to control you. You’ll learn how to shift your thoughts about hunger so you can find peace with food, one choice at a time. 💡 What You’ll Learn in This Episode: The lie we believe about hunger — and why it keeps us stuck. The truth about how God designed our bodies to handle hunger. A new way to think when you feel hunger rising. A simple practice to go from panic → peace around food. 📖 Scripture “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14 🔗 Links & Resources Register for my free Stay Committed Masterclass Series  Join the waitlist for my 8-week program, A Gift Exchange: From Body Heavy to Body Free (you’ll be added automatically when you register for the masterclass!) ✨ Friend, hunger isn’t something to fear. Do you ever feel weighed down by your body — not just physically, but with shame, guilt, and frustration after overeating? You’re not alone. For years I believed I’d never figure it out, that I’d always be stuck in the same cycle. But shame never helps us lose weight — it only keeps us stuck. In today’s episode, we’re talking about what it means to lay down the burdens of shame, guilt, and lies and pick up the truth of God’s love, grace, and freedom. You’ll learn how to move from self-pity to self-empowerment, how to say “no” to food from a place of confidence instead of punishment, and how to trust God’s strength instead of your own. This is the path from body heavy to body free. ✨ Mentioned in this episode: Matthew 5:4 — “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Romans 8:28 — “God works all things together for good for those who love Him.” 👉 Ready for more? Ever feel like one slip, one meal, or even one week off plan ruins everything? 😩 You’re not alone — but that thought is a lie. In this episode, I’m giving you a quick pep talk to reset with grace instead of shame. Because here’s the truth: one off-plan moment is just a fact, not a failure. And what matters most is the story you choose to tell yourself about it. 💗 Inside this episode, you’ll hear: Why shame never creates lasting change — but grace does How to see going off plan as just the facts, not your identity A simple reset formula: water, 3 meals, movement, rest The powerful truth: you get to believe anything you want — “I’m failing” OR “this is a perfect part of the process” How to partner with God, who multiplies your faithfulness—not perfection 🙌 📖 Faith Anchor: Philippians 3:13-14 — “Forget what’s behind and press on.” ✨ Takeaway: Going off track doesn’t mean you’re done. #181 - Not Good Enough

2025-09-0118:42

Do you ever feel like no matter what you do—it’s not enough? ➡ You plan your meals but think you should be tracking macros. ➡ You walk, but feel guilty you’re not running. ➡ You pray or read your Bible, but tell yourself it’s not long enough or deep enough. This thought—“What I’m doing isn’t good enough”—is one of the enemy’s sneakiest lies. It convinces us that success only comes from perfection or doing it all, and it robs us of the joy and progress in small, faithful steps. But here’s the truth: success in weight-loss, health, and faith doesn’t come from doing everything perfectly—it comes from showing up with consistency, grace, and trust that God multiplies your small efforts. 💡 In This Episode You’ll Learn: How the “not enough” thought shows up in weight-loss, exercise, and nutrition Why perfectionism makes us quit before we see results How this lie shows up in friendships, household tasks, jobs, and even our relationship with God What God actually says about “enoughness” (and why He never asks for perfection) 5 practical steps to replace “not enough” with truth and grace 📖 Faith Anchor Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” God never measures “enough” by perfection. He delights in our faithfulness, not flawless performance. ✨ Key Takeaway You don’t need to do it all. You don’t need to do it perfectly. You only need to do the next faithful step. Consistency + grace is what leads to real change—both in your health and in your walk with God. 💗 Next Step If this episode encouraged you, I’d love to connect with you on Instagram + Facebook (@leandramcmullen) where I share daily encouragement and tools. And don’t forget—you can sign up for my free video series “Stop Over-Eating Today” to start walking in freedom right now.
It’s easy to consume. We scroll, listen, watch, and take in what others create. But if we’re not careful, consuming can keep us stuck. Because real transformation happens when we start creating. In this episode of The Christian Weight-Loss Podcast, we talk about why creating feels harder than consuming and why it’s the key to lasting change in your weight-loss journey. You’ll learn: ✨ The difference between consuming (staying in learning mode) and creating (actually taking action). ✨ Why creating brings up self-doubt, discipline, and perseverance. ✨ How this applies to your health: planning meals, moving your body, and practicing self-control. ✨ How to shift from consumer to creator with God by your side. Consuming might feel easier, but creation is where the transformation — and freedom — happens. 📖 Key Faith Anchor: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9 God is the Creator, and He made you in His image — which means you were made to create too. 🎧 Listen now to Stop Consuming, Start Creating and discover how to step out of “learning mode” and into real change. 💗 Let’s Connect! Do you notice how easy it is to “receive” fear, guilt, or lies from the enemy… yet how hard it can be to receive God’s love, favor, or peace? In this episode, we’re talking about why that happens — and how to change it. We’ll cover: 💗 Why we resist God’s gifts like grace, wisdom, and strength 💗 The lies that keep us in striving instead of receiving 💗 How to practically open your hands to what God wants to give you 📖 Faith Anchor: Ephesians 2:8-9. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.” Everything God gives — salvation, wisdom, peace, strength — is a gift. You don’t have to earn it. You just need to receive it. 💗 Let’s connect: Come hang out with me on Instagram & Facebook — I share encouragement, practical tools, and behind-the-scenes of living out these truths every day. 📲 Instagram:  📲 Facebook
