The Wrap Up

The Wrap Up

2023-10-0613:43

After ghosting you for over a year I decided it was time to publish an official "wrap-up" podcast episode. I had every intention of coming back to the podcast this year but the longer my break went on the more I realized - I don't have anything I feel I want or need to talk about. I'm leaving the door open to return to a different iteration of this podcast or maybe a brand new one, but this is Suzi from this version of the Wellness Simplified Podcast signing off for the last time. Thanks for being here and you can follow me on instagram @suzi.fevens
I don't know who needs to hear this but...  you're allowed to change your mind...
It's the last Friday in May which means it's time to shift over to a summer state of mind - AKA the summer podcast schedule. This is when I remind you it's okay to let the housework pile up so that you can enjoy more summer!
Whether we realize it or not, many of us have attached morals to the foods we eat (or don't eat), thinking we are doing something good for ourselves and/or our families - but are we really?
Everyone is always focusing on the big things you can do to improve your health and wellness but it's those small, stupid, boring things that end up saving us.
Let go of your weight

Let go of your weight

2022-05-0611:36

In this week's episode, I'm telling you exactly why I think it's time you let go of your weight, and why you are doing your body a disservice by focusing on it.
In today's episode, I am encouraging you to write yourself a permission slip and ditch the guilt over some of those things that arent going to make a big difference in your daily life but will make a big difference in how you feel that day.  Tell me what your permission slip says! Send me an email  or a DM on Instagram @suzi.fevens
In today's episode, I'm sharing a small portion of the audio from a workshop I recorded earlier this week on Ayurveda and the Doshas. In this section, I talk about how we can optimize the hours in our day by using Ayurveda to schedule our daily tasks. I hope you enjoy it and if you listen I would love to hear what you think! Send me a message on Instagram @suzi.fevens or an email at info@suzifevens.ca
This week was a busy one and I didn't have a chance to record a new episode for you, so instead I'm re-sharing the episode that tops the podcast's download charts every single month - enjoy! Instagram @suzi.fevens www.welluniversity.ca
How's that for a title for you? But it's true! I changed one thing in the past two weeks and it has greatly impacted how I feel every single day. Sound too good to be true? I promise you it's not. Don't spoil it for yourself ;) but here's the link to what I'm using: Find me at  and on Instagram
We hear and see a lot of people advertising coaching programs (myself included) but how do you know what type of coaching is right for you?  The truth is this might be it right here!
The snow globe effect is an analogy I use to describe what happens in our heads when we get overwhelmed and filled with erratic energy, in today's episode I'm chatting about this effect and how you can use it to help you get your to-do list done without going overboard. @suzi.fevens www.welluniversity.ca
I've always been focused on what small simple things you can do to make a big impact in how you feel, and today I'm sharing the story of how my fingernail hanged how I look at nutiriton and what small changes I made as a result that made a big impact in how I feel.  Hang out with me on wellU at www.welluniversity.ca
In today's episode Suzi chats about workout guilt, and differentiating between REASONS and EXCUSES when it comes to deciding whether you should push yourself or not.
Today I'm sharing 5 fun ways to help boost your immune system, that have nothing to do with what you eat or drink!  Instagram @suzi.fevens
I am hearing from more and more people about how they are concerned about taking off the "COIVD pounds" and I'm here to tell you that while living in a pandemic, weight loss should be the furthest thing from your mind.
Let Go of Goal Guilt

Let Go of Goal Guilt

2022-02-0408:27

Today we are talking about those goals you may have set back in January, and if you didn't set any goals (go you!), and why you should let go of any guilt you might be feeling about how much (or little) progress you've made so far
For many years I thought someone telling me I was "taking the easy way out" was an insult, but now I'm realizing more and more that in many cases, it's the smartest thing you can do. Let's talk about some ways YOU can take the easy way out TODAY
Do you find yourself feeling silly or even apologizing when you talk about some of your go-to hobbies or favorite tv shows? Are you a little embarrassed about the reality TV shows you watch or the trashy novels you like to read? I'm here to tell you to STOP APOLOGIZING and lean into what makes you happy!  Instagram: @suzi.fevens
When it comes to hobbies, are you a completionist? Do you finish every book, movie, and TV show you start? Do you need to complete every challenge in a video game before you can move on? Do you see every "fun" project through to the finish even if it's no longer fun? Then you might be a completionist. And it's time to stop.
