If you feel stalled in your clutter and keep telling yourself, “I just don’t know where to start,” this episode is for you. I break down three less-talked-about reasons people get stuck even when they genuinely want to declutter. We talk about motivation, self-trust, and why having a big vision can sometimes work against you. By the end, you’ll likely recognize what’s actually holding you back and know what to do next. If your home feels harder to manage than it should, this episode explains why. Many homes don’t struggle because of clutter or effort. They struggle because there’s a systems gap. When structure is missing, everyday tasks rely on memory, energy, and constant follow-through. Over time, that adds up. In this episode, I break down what a system actually is, how systems fail inside real homes, and the small signs that support is missing. I've done the video "x things I'm not buying in x years" before. But it was always more of a declaration for me than a "challenge". In my mind, I've never actually done a no-buy challenge. I even researched if there was a set of rules that people tend to follow when doing this "challenge" because I didn't know! Haha. Since I'm hitting some of my top-spending categories (clothes, skincare, etc.), I'm starting with a hardcore 6-month hard-commit instead of a full year.
