Pope Francis has died. As Evangelicals, this gives us an opportunity to pray for our Catholic brothers and sisters. We should also pray for the cardinals who will be part of the conclave to select the new Pope because whether we like it or not, the Pope speaks for all of Christendom. I recently ended a fundraiser I’d been doing for Hope International without reaching my fundraising goal. Well, without reaching my stretch goal. Some things I could have done differently. Planned the fundraiser. Partnered with others to help get the word out and for additional support. Set incremental goals instead of one huge stretch goal. Widened the scope of the fundraiser.
